I have a couple shout outs I would like to make. These are serious, not at all meant to be poking fun at anyone.
1. Kevin Clouse; I appreciate hearing your interest in establishing ways to raise money for our local disc golf club. I agree that one great way to do it is at our regular league events. Regrettably, there simply wasn't enough time to have a quality conversation about that topic prior to league night. We're due to have another DFOK Club Meeting at the MHK Public Library very soon, we should be sure to put this topic on the agenda.
2. Mark Kewley; Thanks for demonstrating part of the Bag Tag "trade up" & "trade down" league rules that might not have been stated clearly enough thus far. You definitively did us a favor by pointing out your concerns tonight. To clarify to all, a player can change types of tags one time during the season. More specifically, they can only make that type of tag change at the "check-in" of an officially scheduled bag tag league event. Well done.
3. DFOK Disc Golf Swap Meet? I'm thinking we need to have one at Fairmont Park on some August Saturday morning. Heck, we could probably have one every 4 to 6 months the way DG is growing locally... Think of all the cool disc golf deals! If there is interest, we could pick a date in LATE August to give us time it promote it too (on this site, the KDGA site, flyers at dg courses, etc.).
