Next sunday (May 20th). After doubles will be the first monthly club meeting / Lunch. All are welcomed to attend, We will meet at Riedys Pizza in Charlotte. After this week, we will shoot for having these meetings every month on the last Sunday of the month after doubles.
At these meetings we will address any outstanding issues from the last months meetings, discuss any concerns or questions that people may have. Make any announcements that might need to be made. As well as vote on topics which require a vote.(Voting and who gets a vote will be discussed in the first meeting on the 20th)
There will always be at least one board member on hand at each meeting to assist in answering any questions that arise.
I am hoping these meetings / lunches will help us all in the long run, by giving everyone a time and place for all issues to be handle. Also should help us grow by allowing everyone in the club to get to know each other. As of right now. Everyone seems to always play with the same set of 3 people each round and no one really gets to know anyone else. I am hoping this helps strengthen all our friendships and helps the flow of information as well. Any questions please feel free to contact me on the scene.

No the club is not buying everyone's lunch people are expected to pay for their own food/drinks.
