A note to all Ams... it has come the the CCR's attention that proposed PDGA payout scale, at 45%, is stupid and unfair. While it does spread the wealth nicely, it gives almost nothing extra to the winner. We have come across a new payout scale that seems more fair. It still pays the top 45% percent, but it lets everyone know who the winner is by how much bigger his or her stack of discs is compared to everyone else. And that's how it should be. What we also like about the payout is that it doesn't insult last cash with an $8 payout when you just beat 27 other people, but it also does not give you so much that it steals from the top. It's respectable and fair. To give you a comparison, it's the same payout scale used at States, and we all know how awesome the payouts are at States!
So, have no fear fellow golfers. We understand the woes of poor payouts and we refuse to be a part of it. So from here on out, every CCR run event will use this new payout for the Ams. We look forward to seeing you all at future events... up next The Burchfield Open, May 21-22... Holt, Mi.
