We all know that I will get the 2011 bid if it was there to give, but as of now, the “bid” USDGC has been moved to 2012. 2011 was the label of the assumed next USDGC. The prize was the A BID to go to the USDGC. I know that, you know that and everyone else that spoke up knows that. You have had an overwhelming amount of people response to you about this matter. E-mails, phone calls, posts online and the document of quotes I put together for you, were all in response to you wanting peoples input on this. As you found out, ALL the current and past dg leaders state wide said this bid should be honored. The ADGA board and members present voted twice in back to back meetings unanimously to honor the prize. Ten of the fifteen Alaska Open players that played in states responded by saying, “it should be honored”. This is a matter of keeping the credibility and honor of organized disc golf alive. That is why the response to this subject has been so great. I am an honorary member, that has given thousands of dollars, hundreds of volunteer hours and have sacrificed the past six years of my life to help build the credibility and honor of this sport. It might be wishful thinking, but I wish EVERYONE would stand up with me and do the same now. So even if I have to stand alone and fight to my grave to keep the honor here, I will, because it is the right thing to do. A leader should listen to the people he is representing, but a GREAT leader should follows the will of his people. Edan, I challenge you to become a great leader and honor the bid no matter what “Innova” chooses to do.
