We need to spread more chips around the baskets and on some trails this weekend, before it gets to wet. I asked the city to dump chips around the baskets, but they didn’t get the back holes. I asked for chips Wednesday and they were there Thursday. Now that’s service! I know the chips stop the discs from skipping but I think we need them for the winter, to prevent muddiness. Unless someone has a better idea and will apply it, this is what we are doing. So we are calling for a working party Saturday 7 November, 10:00AM. Tag round at 1:00. We need trucks, rakes, shovels, pitchforks, and whatever works for moving/spreading chips. Pitchforks work great for loading trucks from the pile. This may be the last weekend we get.
