Who is coming tomorrow????
Our numbers have weakened the last two weeks again for multiple reasons... so who plans on going tomorrow? Do you think we should change the start time or exclude a few holes for the light's sake? Don't think we'll be able to get in all 18 starting when we do with the sun working more and more against us... what do you all think? Let's figure it out before tomorrow :) Thanks!

So who is planning on coming Thursday? Might go watch the Vibram Dubs if not a lot of ladies are coming. If Shaun makes dubs I prob will not be at league.. but if everyone still plans on coming I'll be there. Please post whether you think you will make it. Thanks!

A few things:
1. I've updated the score board for last night's round. Erin or Amy will fill in a few others we may have missed over the past month. 2. I updated our league the best I can; our "club" is already registered, so I can't change our name to remove 'Hodges' without starting all over and losing our history. Weather has become...
...a real lame excuse not to show up. We had a beautiful night last week even if we started between the rain drops, which quickly ended. Just saying it in case anyone's actually contemplating the idea again. I'm in.
Is there any reason we'd prefer to avoid a thread on the NEFA forum. We have lurkers out there that aren't on discgolfscene. I'd be more than happy to start a thread there, too.

Chances drop to 50% of scattered tstorms at 5:30, so I'm still taking my chances. I really want to play, especially with you all. I got the formal green light from Pyramids today (even though Erin confirmed, too), so I don't want to let them think we're skeered especially if the weather is nice. C'mon out unless you'd just be miserable.

We will move our league to Pyramids tonight in the hopes that a change in scenery and distance helps bring you out! We will start at our usual 5:30 start time. We'll offer a $1 greens fee each. We can decide as a group at league if you want to take greens fee out of payout or pay the extra buck. Soooo hope to see you there tonight!

OK I have talked with Jason about playing our league at Pyramids and he is willing to let us play for free to get more women out on the course. I offered that we would each pay a $1 greens fee as a courtesy. I am going to make up a sign to put up on the kiosk to get more girls to join us. I would like to offer first league is free to get girls to come try it with no risk. lately for me...work + home...but it should be getting better soon. Wed or Thur work...We could alternate weeks hodges/marshall st so it is fair for all. I personally look forward to ladies night, so I hate to see it dissipate.

1 WEEK FROM TODAY!!!!
St. Patty's Day and the start of the 2010 Ladies League is only one week away!! I'm planning on heading to Hodges this Friday 3/12 @ 4:30 for a quick 9 holes to see what kind of shape the course is in. I'd like to see us all take a bigger role in keeping up the course this year since we're the only ones that truly call it home. Let me know if you'd like to join! The more the merrier!

Hello Girls... We haven't played league in a while :( Boliver, Yaskis and I cleaned Hodges on Saturday Morning. It looks awesome. We cut down a ton of bushes and tree's on hole #7 and several other places as well. Would anyone be interested on playing Wednesday. Regular time nine holes???

Chris has some sort of virus and it managed to set off his sciatic nerve. I brought him to the ER on Tuesday and again at 3:00 this morning. He's in a bunch of pain and only percs are getting him through it right now. Sorry to miss out on league. :-(

The shirts have been priced and will be $12 for those of you that did not want your name on it and $15 for the ones that did. If we do this again it will be a little cheaper because the screen print is already made. This price includes the shirts for everyone and also the free spot for Buff open. I will not make it to league today (feeling blah, sick of the weather) But I will start collecting next Wednesday the 8th. Alright, I think that today was frustrating for everyone that played but i don't want to lose the positive vibe of having a WOMENS LEAGUE, its the first and only. You do not need to pay for the shirts until they come in (I believe I will double check with the Cubester) I would however like to get a list going of what size everyone will need (they are a women size shirts so S,M,L,XL) and I will also need to know if you want your name on it. If you would like to add your name it is an additional $3.75 so the total price of the shirt will be an even $20. I vote Hodges.

Mark has priced the shirts for us for the colors we want (Heather Gray and Pink letters) We will charge $15 for a shirt. This is a little more than they are. I think its going to come to $12 and change each but the extra $ will go towards the free spot for a Womens division in the Buff Open. Remember you have to be a NEFA member!! We can get size info later I just wanted to see if this was ok with everyone before we go any further with it. BTW google Heather gray and tell me if you like that color better than the traditional gray.

Where should league be...?
I didn't get a chance to go look at Hodges yesterday. So my quetion is.... Should we play Hodges or Buff today?? It is not suppose to rain just cloudy. If Hodges hasn't been cut then we are looking at really tall, wet grass. Which is ticks, loss of disc ect. I can try to get a hold of everyone and let them know if we are changing places. If its rainy Im not playing at all, if it just meh out Ill probably just go to Buff league this week. For some reason bad weather at Buff isn't as miserable as bad weather at Hodges.

I will know more so towards 4 or 5pm, Donny will be picking me up at work and if he plans on attending league at Buff then I will be more then happy to play at Hodges if anyone eles is going I don't mind a drizzle.

today's league and my view
eI do not plan on playing in the rain today. I say we post pone it until next week. Obviously if people decide to play go ahead and give the scores to some on the staff and we will post them for you.

I am going to postpone grenade and camo week to next Wed due to the rain. The grenade is at it's peak flavor in warm, sunny weather :-)

League Updates
Great times yesterday!!! A bit of news....we have decided next week we will be playing 18 holes with a start time of 5:35 p.m. We also themed next week as Camo and Grenades. Wear camo and Michelle Smith will bring the grenades! Please contact Michelle Smith and let her know you will be attending league on 5/27/09 (a special grenade will be made for Lauren...LOL)!!! Nice job Erin with another week of CTP!! Lauren and Michelle Ala take first with an even score...Good Job! That's two weeks ... more

8 Women strong. Wendy and Lauren took it down Erin and Kate, Jenilee and Amy (putta) tied for second.
WPI sucks. Disc thieves tast like chicken. and the guy on the bike would have been so much cooler if he hit the jump.
Oh yeah Holy Flicka Erin got CTP.
One more thing...
Once we nail our league details, I think we might be in a good position to establish another "club" or whatever its called here. I just can't alter the name of this one, but I really hate the idea of losing our history by starting another one.
