Raining Aces!

We just finished the 7th week of Wednesday Night Dubs and 4 aces have been hit:

John Thein #6 on January 2nd.
Josh Stewart #7 on January 2nd.
Josh Stewart #3 on February 6th.
Joe Schacht #5 on February 13th. Joe also reset the ace fund last week at Peter's Creek by hitting #7.

Dubby Dubs!

What up Errrone? Dubs is usually a good time but last nights Dubs was awesome. Here are a few of the highlights: - This weeks bounty was if any team carded a 19 (-8) on either of their 9's I would refund them their entry fee (up to $5). Joe and Danny carded an 18 (overachievers). - All 7 teams shot 45 (-9) or better. - Joe/Danny and Donny/Brad did the mandatory 3 hole playoff. What up Errrone? Dubs is usually a good time but last nights Dubs was awesome. Here are a few of the highlights:

- Josh Stewart hit his second Ace of the Dubs season. This time it was the very respectable #3. Yes, number 3! That was good enough to reset the Ace Fund to $14.

RESET!!!

Just for kicks we're gonna payout up to $100 of the Ace Fund sometime towards the beginning of January. Who will be invited?: * The first 8 people to reach 50 points OR any player who has attended EVERY glow round to that point will be invited. Points come before attendence. For example: if 8 people have 50+ points and 2 people have attended all the leagues but have less than 50 points the 8 point qualifiers would receive the invites. * There will NOT be a Cali at this event. * ... more

* There will NOT be a Cali at this event.

* In the event of a tie for the final spot(s) the player(s) who has/have attended the most glow leagues to that point will be awarded the final spot(s). If a tie still persists, the player(s) with the LOWER PDGA number will receive the invite(s).

* 2 teams will be paid cash. The other two teams will win a set of lights.

The only thing that will void this invite only league is if someone hits an Ace between now and then. Should that be the case we'll do this again sometime in the future (once the Ace Fund is back up). Or have Silky sponsor it, haha ;-)

Lights are in... again!

I purchased 100 packs of lights (all Reds) this time around (not 25). Remember, they're $5 for a pack of two. Bring some extra money to Dubs tomorrow to snag some. See you there!

Lights are in!!!

Yes, finally is right! I ordered 5 packs of Blue and the rest are Red. I'm very pleased with their brightness. $5 per pack. See you guys there!

Wednesday Night Lights

Welcome to Wednesday Night Lights Dubs Edition. As far as I know, this is a first for the Association. The cost is $5 for members of the ADGA and $7 for non-members. The Ace Fund is included with your entry fee. Lights will be available for purchase. Please take your own tape (clear or Duct tape seems to work well). Lights come in 2-packs of Red, with a few Blues up for grabs (FCFS). Lights will be on sale at WNL Dubs. The cost is $5.00 for a pack of two. These lights are supposed to last 12-16 ... more

Lights come in 2-packs of Red, with a few Blues up for grabs (FCFS). Lights will be on sale at WNL Dubs. The cost is $5.00 for a pack of two. These lights are supposed to last 12-16 hours. Headlamps or flashlights are still recommended. All we need now is a way to light up the baskets without the high cost of glow sticks. Please be on the lookout for options and report whatever it is you find. I'm thinking those "Tap Lights" could do the trick.
