Points Updated, New 2012 Format Announced!
Ryan Toth refuses to give up to Dave O'shea until the last putt is thrown in 2011. Pulling within 50 points he continues to shoot strong & make his presence known.
Marty Peters & NARC crushed the field sunday on a windy day (gusts up to 40mph!)
Shooting a blistering -8 under and taking home the $58 prize.
In other news the 2012 Format has been announced.
Points will no longer give an atvantage to those who show up every sunday.
Next year will take an Average finish of a player & that will determine his standings in Doubles.
So in essence the more you show up could help or hinder your average depending on where you stand.
Also, you must attend at least 35% of the Doubles in 2012
(28 weeks in the season, you would have to show up 11 of those 29 weeks)
Next year the top 5 in the standings will recieve Cash prizes courtesy of the TADGA series & Stanley Steemer whom has jumped on board to sponsor the 2012 Series.
The top 3 finishers will also recieve trophies.
The 2012 Season Shedule will run from The first weekend in April to the last weekend in October with the awards taking place at Bark at the Moon 2012.
Good luck to everyone in the 2012 SS Vienna Dubs Series!

September Arrives... with Osh in the lead.
We move into the 9th month of the year, which means that 2/3 of 2011 is over. And with 2/3 of the year over the lead is held by Dave J. O'Shea, by a solid 20-odd point margin over Ron P. Gravelle. Woj is hard charging and sitting suddenly in 3rd place, but has finished his season in the Michigan Ohio Border region.
This week saw Woj draw the cali chip and drop a 43 (-11) on the course, holding off Dave O'Shea and Chris Hoyle's very solid 46 (-8). Next week the field will move to the short tees with an ace pool that has once more climbed over the $200 threshold. Vienna Park is ripe for one more major ace in 2011! Show up and take your shots.
