April 17th handicap

Last round for this season. It was a good season thanks to all you players that supported it. We did not have a big turn out for the last day, but for the ones that played we were treated to a great cook out. Hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, drinks, all the fixin's. Thanks Al Ford! Mike Schweitzer got low raw score and ended up in a tie for first place with Jean Carlos. A throw off put Mike first and Jean second. Al Ford and Patrick Rush also did a throw off for third with Al winning that one. Check out the cook out pictures.

April 10th handicap

Finally got the scores to post. I do not have the payout amounts. Some great rounds by Charles and John and good to see that Lenny came out and tore it up. Remember this coming Sunday is our last round for this season. It has been a good season and I think will have some fun on the last Sunday. See you there!

Saturday

On Saturday mornings they have a handi-cap at the Limona Disc Golf Course. After this Saturdays handi-cap a group is going out to Medard park where John McCrae is developing Hillsborough County's next disc golf course. The course is laid out and awaiting the delivery of the baskets. They are bringing temp baskets so players can check out the course layout.
Should be nice Saturday, so go out there around 1:00 pm and check out the handi-cap if you can get up early on Saturday.

3 Sundays left

There are three more Sundays left in this handicap season. The money in the ace fund ( $115 ) will be divided over the next three payouts. Week one $38. Week two $38. Week three $39. This amount will be added to the daily pot and we will pay to 40% of the number of players. Each week will will have $1 per player as an ace fund. If no one hits the ace that day the amount goes in the payout for the day.

URGENT!!!!

The park is closing on March 12th for spring break and will open again on March 21st. This means no handicap for next two weeks. This handicap league will end the Sunday before Easter. April17th will be the last day for this school year. Sunday March 27th will be the last day for the ace fund. Because that is our next date, there will not be any new players able to join from now on for this year. Players with one round can still establish. Anything in the ace fund after March 27th will be divided equally over the final three weeks.

Thanks Adam!

Adam Brown measured all the holes and brought a scorecard out to handicap with the real distance to the holes on the scorecard. Some of the holes were off a lot from the distance on the sign.
