Thursday Throwdown League at Hilltop tonight! The weather is clearing up, doesn't seem too windy, get fired up!
Wow, what a beautiful evening- and no battling the crowds or being thrown on makes for a stress free evening of disc golf! Thank you for coming out to soak up the sun and views tonight! I'll post scores tomorrow (Friday), thank you for your patience. Remember every Thursday- Hilltop, PDGA League, by division, $5 fun, come on out!!!
Thank you to the 12 tough peeps who came out for a rainy/cold Thursday Throwdown round. There was rain, but there was no wind, that's something to be thankful for! Attendance is going up- which means more payouts :)
Come on out next week!
First day of the Thursday Throwdown league at Hilltop- the course is playing great with no wind today! Thank you to those who came out, and I hope to see you next week!

Thursday Throwdown at Hilltop is CANCELLED for this week due to course maintenance needed at Kincaid for the upcoming Alaska State Championships next weekend. Kincaid is a beast of a course that usually gets its yearly manicure the end of June-State's is scheduled later this year so Kincaid hasn't had its annual haircut, trimming, waxing and buffing yet. There is plenty of work to be done at Kincaid and your State's TD Brian Gutzwiller is heading up work parties during the evenings this week. 6pm everyday this week he'll be out there. He has a weed wacker and a mower that needs to be run, and lots of other work to be done like clearing downed limbs, clipping foliage around baskets and tee boxes, replacing parts on baskets and sleeves etc. You can do your part in supporting disc golf, the course maintenance at Kincaid and getting this course ready for our biggest tournament of the year.
I strongly encourage my Thursday Throwdown regulars to head to Kincaid on Thursday to help with the course maintenance!
Everyone knows that volunteer hours always come back in the form of "tree love" and "volunteer kicks" during tournaments :) Get your good karma going...
