About this League

Singles Overview:

We’re going to run a singles league with 3 different divisions:

Advanced (Played several times and tournament-ready)
Beginner (May have played before, but still need to develop)
Women (Not men )

Format:

Players will be given the option of paying one price for the season ($35) or paying each time they play ( $3). All season players will receive a players package (including a disc).

Points will be earned each day or night and compiled to determine overall rankings/awards. A minimum (12 days/nights) will be needed in order to qualify for the end of season awards.

CTP’s will be given out each day!!!

What time for Singles? - We’re going to have two time options to play every Thursday. It’s all the same league, but players will have the option of playing at 10 am or 6 pm. This is done to include all second shift workers/morning people in on the fun. You could play both times on Thursdays, but only one round counts for the overall standings.

Ace Pool in effect every Thursday and Sunday!!!!!

Prize Redemption
For those of you who didn't donate your prize money to the Eaton Rapids course:
Please redeem your prize money at Skidmore's as soon as possible so we can finish up league finances. For those who couldn't make it to the party (Todd, Jacob, Ryan) or have someone bring your stuff to you, everyone gets something, and your money is at the store.
Thanks for Playing!
CDGA summer Thursday leagues have wrapped up for the season. Thanks to everyone who came out, and we hope you had fun! Congratulations to all the division winners!

Keep an eye out on DiscGolfScene and www.charlottediscgolf.wordpress.com for info on upcoming events (Halloween Dubs) and a possible winter league in the works.
Don't Forget!
League festivities to follow Lincoln Logs tourney on this Saturday, Sept 26. If you're not playing the tournament (and I hope you are), plan on about 6-ish at Camp Francis, Bennett Park. Everyone please bring a dish to pass!

League prizes will be handed out, as well as some extra stuff and a drawing for the Mike Randolph bag. Other than your designated prize (everyone will get something!) you must be present to win...
League prizes handed out Sept 26
On Sat, Sept 26, after the Lincoln Logs tournament, CDGA has reserved Camp Francis in Bennet Park. League members are invited to join us to celebrate the season and hand out the League prizes.
Potterville on August 27
Reminder that this week's league will meet at Lake Alliance in Potterville. See you there!
Mike Randolph comes to visit
Yesterday Team Discraft Pro Player Mike Randolph (http://www.discraft.com/team_randolph.html) stopped by Skidmore's Village Cycle Shop. He was in the area doing a demo for Discraft (and visiting his mom who lives in Charlotte) He donated some equipment left over from his demo to the CDGA league - a small stack of discs (6 or 8, two of which he autographed), an autographed hat, and the sweetest Team Discraft" bag w/shoulder straps I have ever seen. These will be just a few of the end of the season league prizes! Something cool to shoot for!
Potterville on June 25
Reminder that this week's league will meet at Lake Alliance park in Potterville. See you there!

If you missed us the first week, please don't hesitate to join us yet in the coming weeks! You only need 12 weeks to qualify for overall prizes, so season registration is still open. Of course, you can pay weekly as well.
