This is the first officially recognized league we've hosted at Village Park in Sussex. Come on out each Monday night for chance to learn the rules, gain experience with organized play, and share your disc golf experiences with other like-minded people.

We'll over various divisions so everyone should be competitive week after week. The league will run for 8 weeks and we'll take your best point earnings for 6 of those 8 weeks. That means you're not out of the running if you have 1 poor week or if you have other obligations that night.

Queue the Black Eyed Peas

Yeah, I just went there - "Tonight's gonna be a good good night ..." Anyway - there are some VERY heated battles for the last night of league and the temperatures should match the competition level.

Excited to see everyone out there tonight and then plan to head over to Sussex Bowl for the end of season trophy / awards / raffle action!

Week 6 sees another Ace

Another Ace was hit this week, Congratulations to Matt! The Advanced division brought in some great scores this week with a -8, -7, -5. Great job guys.

The bugs were a little better this week, we can only hope that they will be even better next week.

See you all next week.

Week 5 is in the books!

A few new players joined us on week 5 which is great to see. Some great scores were shot in all 3 divisions especially when we saw Megan Crass improve on her week 4 score by 9 strokes! I certainly hope you keep it up Megan - let's just get more women out there to play though.

Looking forward to an absolutely beautiful night out at Village Park in Sussex and I'm anxious to have all of you there. Bring the bug spray!

Double Banging on Double Points Night

We had our best turnout yet and it was on week 4 which was double points night. Keep in mind that the final night, week 8 will also be double points night. Things are heating up in both divisions as there is now a tie in the Pro Division between Joel Kamoske and yours truly. Joel even helped wipe out the ace pool this week by getting an ace on hole number 1 which is beautiful and challenging with the pond these days. Aaron and Justin appear to be pulling away in the Advanced division ... more

7-26-10

I’m filling in for Terry and Dane this week while there at worlds. This was my first week at this league and I had a bunch of fun. We signed up 16 players, 4 of those are new players to the league. I know that Terry said I would do payouts for weeks one and two but, I was not home to get the email with the payout schedule. Terry will take care of payouts for past weeks on Monday at league. Don’t forget to bring your CTP vouchers. The water on hole number one was about 10 feet away fr ... more

Week 3 is almost here already

It has been a great couple of weeks and night number 3 us almost upon us. Mad props to Dane for winning the playoff AND more importantly, doing most of the work in getting week 2's stats up for us. Thanks Dane! Dane, Dustin, and myself will be gone this week and Super Stud, Johnny Rumble is going to roll in from Germantown to run the show. He might be a small package but he packs a mean punch so don't let him fool ya'. Thanks for coming out everyone and let's do ... more

League Starts on Monday - July 12th

Lions Daze will takes place over the July 9, 10, and 11. So I'm slightly worried that ALL 18 holes will be playable by 6PM on our first night of league but if they aren't for some reason, we'll make due.

Everyone will play 18 holes the opening night!

I'm looking forward to seeing you all there on Monday night!
