This argument is running on 3 years, love it
Douglas "Fresh" Watson November 28, 2012 at 11:33pm
Dictatorship? It's a putting league, not a sovereign nation, bro. If you don't like how a league is run then don't show up. Better yet: start your own.
Brian Shevela November 28, 2012 at 11:29pm
Since you are running a dictatorship don't ask for peoples opinions when you don't really care what everyone thinks I say put it to a VOTE next week so you see where your silly pools end up

It wasn't WM but hey, now that you mention it, I now remember a certain 14 he once took on a hole at FF's, lol!
John Minicuci November 28, 2012 at 11:13pm
@KT - u were not the referenced and it wasn't 1 person but a few.
Amateur Hour November 28, 2012 at 11:13pm
Ohhhhhh, you meant WM, I remember

A/B is the way to go, pro/am. Same as most doubles leagues that still used the dated format. Would prefer random draw of course, but Mango sauce has already ruled on the matter.

I hope I am not being referred to John. I never intentionally missed on purpose or accidental or left early on purpose
Brandon Redmond November 28, 2012 at 10:50pm
There's an interesting question...how many ppl show up to win 40 bucks, and how many show up for the extra practice and fun...
Brandon Redmond November 28, 2012 at 10:46pm
@milewski- I understand where you're coming from. It makes sense. I just look at the possibility of random draw not making ppl go out at practice necessarily, but just stop coming out. Maybe I'm just worst case scenario over here, but that's how I feel.
Random would certainly make things easier, but with percentages constantly being updated, I feel like this format we're using works.
Either way, I'm still gonna come and putt the best I possibly can, and help my partner as well.
John Minicuci November 28, 2012 at 10:44pm
Shaun said a couple of key things: "I cant change your mind and you can't change mine." Shaun I agree.
"A "c pooler" loses $5 enough times it might give them incentive to get better by practicing." Shaun, no way. I have practiced and thrown more putts in my life than you could possibly imagine and I am not ever going to be an 80% putter. Heck, I would be pleased to get to 60% at this point. However, you are correct. You have improved tremendously through the y ...

I dig it and have a great time. It was fun shootin with you ken! Dig the ghost rounds to, helped time fly by.
Ken Mango November 28, 2012 at 9:03pm
This is how we select your pool for
If 60 people show up we sort the people by putting percentage from highest to lowest.
the top half will be "A" pool, the bottom half will be "B" pool.
Amateur Hour November 28, 2012 at 8:59pm
Mango sauce boss
Ken Mango November 28, 2012 at 8:48pm
It will NOT be totally random....Except it and move on....or just move on.
Jason "raffle Bagger" Phillips November 28, 2012 at 8:24pm
That explains it....its not the system its the operator. Lol
Jay B November 28, 2012 at 8:20pm
Shaun you nailed it 100% kudos!....putting league formats vs politics? If its not random draw then two words come to mind..."fixed election"
Ken Mango November 28, 2012 at 8:08pm

in the current format the top 50% based on percent are the "A" pool people.
Jason "raffle Bagger" Phillips November 28, 2012 at 7:54pm
Lol to K.T shot for a Wednesday league where all you killers can play head to head with a 20$ buy in cap the field and go nutty.
