League is cancelled

There were only 2 people out there yesterday, 2 people last week, and 2 the week before that, so I'm cancelling league for the remainder of the season.

Change in Format/ Second Week

This week we only had 3 people come out again so I decided to change the format of the league to Mixed. So now, each week, whoever shows up will get to vote on whether we play doubles or singles. This week was fun though. Shane and Shaun came out we played two rounds with some changes to a few holes. After the first round Shane was up by one with a 22, I was at 23, and Shaun was at 25. This week we only had 3 people come out again so I decided to change the format of the league to Mixed. So now, each week, whoever shows up will get to vote on whether we play doubles or singles.

This week was fun though. Shane and Shaun came out we played two rounds with some changes to a few holes. After the first round Shane was up by one with a 22, I was at 23, and Shaun was at 25. The first hole of the second round my drive hit the cage and I got a drop in 2 while Shane threw into the tree and had to take a 3. We all took a 3 on hole 2 and then I birdied 5 holes in a row to take control of the lead. Shane had an incredible 2 on hole 8 (the first one) and I parred the last two to end up at 44 total Shane shot a 45 total, and Shaun shot a 51.

There were a few changes to the course and here they are:

Hole 2 - Basket is moved back onto the hill, distance is now ~380'
Hole 4 - Basket is moved to the side of the hill, distance ~260'
Hole 5 - Tee is moved to old Hole 4 basket location, distance ~310'
Hole 7 - Shortened by about ~20'.

First week

For the first week of doubles... only 3 people came out so we decided to cancel this week even though the weather was awesome. So for next week we need at least 4 people to come out so we can play.
