Well blow me down...

Although it was pretty windy, some good play happened. Jimi B, had a sweet skip ace on hole 16 and won the newly filled ace pool of $16. Four CTPs were given out to four different players. Erik B won a brand new DX Gator on hole 2, Pete L took home a double stamp DX Orc on hole 4, Jimi B kept his good play up and got an LED Flashlight on hole 6, and Steve O won the cash CTP of $16 on hole 8. One great way to challenge your game and pick up some tips is to try and play some Disc Golf Tournaments. I played one on Saturday and I learned a lot from better players and had a great time doing it. Get out there with a group of friends and check out some tournies.

There were fireworks...

On the course this week. Another great turnout of 13 people with a few new faces. Adam W. shot the hot round of the night with a -9. Pete L. won the cash CTP of $11 on hole 15 while newcomer from Minneapolis area Tony C. won hole 8 CTP and received an LED Flashlight thanks to Mel's in Rhinelander. We had our first ace of the year in league with Dan S. on hole 1 winning $11. We also did random doubles from black tees (where available). Hot round was -12 by Tony C. and Dan S. Keep b ... more

New Stuff!

Great turnout last night! It was awesome to see some more of the Brandy Lake Park League guys come out. We had 3 CTPs last night that included: $5 McDonalds Gift Card (won by John J.), $13 Cash (won by Dan S.), and some minis (won by Charlie B.). Next week (July 3rd), we will be teeing off at a new time. 5pm is our new time to tee off. Get to the course a little early so we can start on time. Also, we will be starting a 3 dollar league fee that will be divided into three categories. $1 ... more

Despite the weather...

We had a great turnout for week two of league. Even with the poor weather, we had 5 new players come out. CTP went out to John who won $7 and a brand new Classic Roc. Thanks everyone for coming out and we'll see you next week.

Thank you all who came out and supported the first night of the Sugar Camp Disc Golf League. We had 8 players who all had a great time and I know it's only going to grow and get even better. Congratulations to Josh G. who won CTP and cashed $12 on hole 7.
