Good Matchups for Sat League

Troy would've run away with his partner Joe early on this one, but the chains on the baskets had other ideas
about his putting. The match was a close one for the whole round. For inexplicable reasons Troy had a
number of his putts go smack into the chains only to fall out

Grey Day = Good Golf Day

A light drizzle to start the round stopped almost as soon as we started. Joe played some great golf
carding birdies on tough holes 5 & 8. Those holes proved to be match winners. The kryptonite to
defeat Kellys impressive run of 1st place finishes lately. Not an easy job especially considering he
had Pete as his partner.

One Fine Saturday

Kelly "shouldered" his partner for 17 1/2 holes, thus only the 44. He did go on a birdie tear on Holes 9-14.
Ace Pot is up to $139. There are a lot of Ace Holes out there.

A Beautiful Saturday for Saturday League

Still playing the short course even though Long 11 & 17 are back and Long (regular) 13 has finally been hayed. The baskets have not yet been put back on Long 13 &`14, so Kelly just keeps mowing the competition down. This time with the help of
Joe Allen to record a solid 44. Speaking of solid, Jacob and his partner Mike V. threw down a 48 for 2nd place. The kid is
really getting his name up there on the Leader Board with his increasingly consistent play. In the weeks ahead the course

Kelly and Jacob card another 43

The short course is no problem for Kelly and Jacob. Another fantastic score with solid play
Getting birdies on Holes 7,8,15 &17 is some good golf.

Tim and Jacob throw a 43

Tight grouping today Tim and Jacob take 1st. Kelly/Andy tie with cali boy Juano with 45's. Star frame on hole 14 was a first
for Saturday League. The rain came on Hole 14 and it was a deluge by the time we got to Hole 18. Good job Jacob with
his 2nd straight week with a 43.

Kelly and Jacob blow it out with a 43

No contest this week as Kelly and Jacob birdie 5 of the first 6 holes and never look back.
A bogey on hole 15 was their only blemish on what could have been yet another course
tying record with yet another person for Kelly. Talk about consistency. He does it no
matter WHO his partner is!

Kelly and Josh throw a 42!!!

The lead card played some disc. Two 48s and a HOT 42 combine for 6 star frames & 27 birdies! WOW Tim and Jacob
outlasted Jake and Patrick for 2nd to claim those all important 2 points plus lots of tie breaker points. Thanx to DDGC
for showing up in force. Due to missing Alt. 13 basket, we played Hole 1 twice.

Kelly and The Kid Win It

Josh and Andy were in the lead for 17 holes. But with Kelly playing that's never enough. Kelly and Jacob tie on the next to last
hole and take 1st in the first playoff hole. Josh putted lights out to keep us in the running. What a gorgeous day to play
disc golf.

29 BIRDIES!!!

Tim and Dave shoot a HOT round of 43 to take 1st. Isaac and I throw -10 down and get squat! WOW!
There was a hole lot of birdie action going on. We played alt. 13 & 14 and since there was no long 11 to
throw too, We played short 11 and long 17 instead.
Bummer: No league last week, but congrats to Tim for his dirty ace-off the tree-on hole #4.

Orginal Layout Is Back!

We had a work day to start the day. Saturday League started around 1:30 and we had 8 players still game enough to throw
some plastic. With my supervisory skills during workday and Tims throwing skill during the round, Tim and Andy take down
1st place. Ol Leaguer Dave Redlund and Joe grab 2nd. Mannnnn was it great to throw the orginal course again. Holes 2,
3 and 4 are back in play. Unfortunately Holes Long 13 & 14 will be out of use due to its hay season now till August. Holes
alternate 13 & 14 will be used till we can play the long holes again. ENJOY

After an amazing 5 hole playoff for 2nd was settled by Kellys awesome drive combined with Jacob's great putt from 60'
on long 17. # 15,16 & 17 (short and long) were played twice due to holes 2-4 being out of play.

Kelly & Trevor get a 45 for 1st place and big payout with 14 players

Although the course is going through some "alterations" and the regular course was not played. Instead a screwy
safari hole of #2s Tee to #3s basket was used-and will not be repeated. Also 13a as well as 13 regular were played.

Joe & Kelly crush the competition

Joe continues his hot play with help from Kelly this week. A score of 20 on the front nine and nobody could catch them.
Jason had a number of close ace runs but this is disc golf not handgrenades. Thanx to JJ for the CTPs on Holes 7-10!

Saturday League

A nice day with cool temperatures. Absolutely no snow left from last week. Joe takes back his league lead with Juano's
help. A solid 48 takes it. Kelly and Josh get 2nd. Nice to see 9 people out there. No real threats on the Ace Pot today.

Snowy conditions on course

There was 6' of heavy, wet snow in rain/drizzle to start. Isaac and Jake had the early lead and Kelly and Andy never led
until Kelly canned his putt from his drive on 18 for the win. Im glad Kelly was my partner today. Waayyy too many times
I've been on the losing end of those game winning Kelly putts.
