Winter 2013 SAFE-D meeting update
The St Aug Friday Evening-Doubles meetings are alive & kicking!
Ace Fund will be $100+ for the January 18th, 2013 game. True random partners, 100% payout*. Players who have not played at least two prior SAFE-D meetings will forego 25% of any hole-in-one winnings; that goes to jumpstart the next ace fund.
Scheduled CTPs for next regular 25-hole round are 8, 15, 22 (CTPs #4, 8, 12 for next “2@front 12” game). Hole eight is a second shot, team payout CTP.
moony magical moment this Memorial
Oh, one of the coolest things about last night's game that I forgot to include in the last post:
About an hour after sunset, as the huge orange ball was rising toward the treetops in the eastern sky, we all got to witness a launch from the Kennedy Space Center! Cape Canaveral is a two hour drive by car from this course, but visibilty was great. The contrail was white at first, then faded to orange as the craft left Earth's atmosphere and the reflection from the moon did it's thing. Super Schweet Space Shot!!!
