I added to the schedule a last-minute bag tag day on Monday October 25th at 4:30pm at Clarksville's Airport Park. Twice thru the nine holes. No trophies, no ace pot, no CTP's. The winner will claim the official course record.
As soon as the new Clarksville course at Airport Park is complete with tee signs, we will hold a bag tag challenge. May make it a Monday evening thing twice thru the 9 holes. That way someone will have bragging rights to the course record on discgolfscene!
Keep checking here for details on the course: http://www.bluegrassdiscgolf.org/Clarksville.html
The final Bag Tag Challenge will be moved to Madisonville, KY City Park at 10:00 AM, October 24th. Come join us and play a Top 50 course.
Some Details:
*Look for me at one of the Shelter houses around Hole 9. I will set up at one that is available.
*2 rounds, with an hour break in between. We will need the hour break for this beast of a course!
*Everyone will be playing the long pads on Holes 7 and 8. Go in the water on your drive, go to short pad and throw with stroke penalty.

I want to appologize to the two guys that didn't get bag tags. Supply couldn't meet demand today! I will post the results Monday night, and post the location and time of the October bag tag league next week.
Show up before 1pm. Will will start at 1pm sharp!!! Trophies to the top 3, CTP's, and maybe hit a mexican restaurant afterwards!!
Despite the hot weather, 13 players showed up for the Hopkinsville Bag Tag Challenge, including 3 new players. Brian Deloe successfully defended his gold #5 tag. Ben Bohl was the only man to give him a challenge. Those Monster drinks may need to be tested for Performance Enhancing Drugs!
The biggest battle was for third place between Greg McAtee, Stan Kubik, Lee Ervin, and John Bal. John Bal ended up mopping up on some CTP awards.
Brian Deloe hit a skip ace on hole #6 and cashed $10.
See everyone at the next bag tag challenge at War Memorial Park!
Don't forget about this Sunday's bag tag league in Hopkinsville at 1pm. The Hoptown boys have come up with another 9 holes to make it a full 18 hole course. Maps and rules will be available. Due to the tight nature of the course, we will all start on Hole 1 with tee times. Two rounds of 18 holes, trophies for the top 3 players, and several CTP's. Come on out and give these Hopkinsville players a run for their money. I can tell where they have been practicing the alternate te ... more
One heck of a time at the grove. Plenty of new players joining the league. Some improved scores from the newer players. The Hopkinsville players came out in full force today. Justin Moore and Josh Dobelstein tied the course record with a second round of 44.
Roger Hinrichs gave the pros a run for the money for us local guys with two hot rounds, an ace on Hole 1 and cashed $51. Sheila Hardesty had a black ace from the Hole 12 teepad to the Hole 7 basket!
I continue to have to look ...

My only internet access for the next two weeks is at the local library. I will try to check back here as often as I can. Don't forget the bag tag challenge this Sunday at 1pm! Two rounds of 18 holes at War Memorial Park. We will take a short break to eat and drink. Trophies, CTP's, and lots of fun! See you there.
The upcoming Bag Tag Challenges will have some special surprises rewarding top performers. The last Challenge date in October will reward the top woman tagger for the year.
All bag tag challenges will be 2 rounds from now on. The first round will start at 1pm, with the second round following after a short break to grab drinks, food, etc.
If anyone else wants a bag tag, please let me know. I have 4 left and may order more depending on demand. Lots of new players out there. Spread the word and invite them to join us!
