$5.00 player fee each session
The Mountwood Monster Doubles will resume on Saturday mornings at 9:30.

Players are split into A and B groups and drawn randomly for partners.

Entry fee is $5 with $1 going to the Club/ace fund and the rest to the payout. There will also be a ctp.

Ace fund pays $50 to current MOVDGC members, and non members can enter the ace fund for $1.

All skill levels are welcome.

Season over for Mountwood Doubles

Since we started playing doubles on Saturday, 5 weeks ago, we've had enough players to play two times (this week we didn't have it because of the ORBO tournament in Forked Run) so we've decided to call it a season. mountwood doubles day change

The day we play the Mountwood doubles will be on Saturday at 9:30am for the rest of the season. We ran into not having enough time to finish in daylight and if we started earlier then several regular players couldn't make it in time. Hope to see more people out there to play.

Travis Dick Aces #2 at Mountwood

Congrats again to Travis Dick for getting an ace on hole #2 at Mountwood. Travis was playing with Jonah Anderson and Tony Buck and myself (Travis' partner) for the round. Dave Wiltsey, Adam Sams and his partner Dave Buck, were on hole #3 and I think saw it go in too. Keep em coming Travis.

ACE

Congratz to Travis Dick. Travis got an ace from the long tee on hole #3. Josh Dick and myself was in the group playing against Travis and his partner Jonathan Farley at the weekley doubles on 5-23-11 when he got the ace. After almost a year without an ace at the new Mountwood course there's been 2 in 3 days. Josh Dick hit the first ace on Saturday 5-21-11 from the red tee on hole #1.

Start Time

Since its lighter later we decided to start doubles at 6PM to give players time to get out to Mountwood. This will still give us plenty of time to finish in daylight. Hope to see more players out for doubles now. Randy
