The Final went great! We had 41 out of 42 players show who had pre-registered. We also had 8 more people show up to play the side doubles round. The day was really nice, great weather and Picnic course 18 holes was the morning round. -11 was the winning score shot by two teams and the full results are posted here: http://www.discgolfscene.com/leagues/MICPS_Grand_Finale_2010 We did the points payouts and what we decided to do (and probably what we will do in the future) was to pay o ... more

We have posted an event for all of you that missed out on the Grand Finale. Currently there are 30 open spots to play the Picnic Course Doubles on Saturday October 16th. This will run at the same time as the Grand Finale but it will be a separate event with separate payouts. $10 entry, cashless pre-reg. First thirty to let me know they want to play are in.

Ferrel left you with a bad taste in your mouth Matt? This doesn't sound like a a disc golf issue. I've heard pineapple juice works wonders.

i mean yea the whole driving across the state for a doubles round sounds ludacris in all aspects, i feel as the quad points thing for the final is fine, but why not make it singles next year, maybee make brackets for 1 through 100 are on and so on like the divisions and give every one a fair chance that way. i wat to make it clear that not in any way am i saying this is wrong the way it is but i mean im like 80th or 89th and even if i took first and beat what is it 48 people quad points will sh ... more

I wouldn't count on Waverly unless the Coop can afford the $300 a day to rent the park. I think it's $300, give or take $100 or so. The new course, Burchfield, probably wont be in by then. Most, if not all, the tee pads are poured but the baskets are not in and probably wont be until Nov.

yes, Lansing sounds like a good idea. CCR may be able to get waverly put in for the event. also, there is a new course going in this fall (i think) that is supposed be par 65 or something.
