There are some specific areas and neighboring properties that the Riley Co. Administration told us we MUST stay away from.

Have you guys looked at that information on our Google Group page?

In other words, don't foul it up before we ever get started.

I'm going out to Fairmont here in about an hour to flag some hole ideas...if anyone wants to meet up and help let me know.

In my opinion, we may have rounded up 11 baskets but just in case a couple of us (& our baskets) encounter unexpected conflicts we should all plan to bring them.

Clouse,
That's awesome! Now we can even have a basket for the proposed adjustment to the existing #2, and Mark can leave out one of his "nasty" baskets. (That's his description not mine)

Rick I have a DiscCatcher basket that I can bring. Exactly like the one we played on this weekend in Abilene.

Kirk, That is great! I'll send you an e-mail or text about Tuesday's delivery/placement details.

Plus, I'll update the list to recognize your generosity.

If we only end up with 8 baskets, I can bring my Innova mini basket thus play 17 full + 1 mini hole (with a 100' +/- fairway).

I am 1/2 joking, about the temp. mini fairway.

Excellent post Mark. I'll post a temp basket roll call on the club page also.

the other thing I will say, when imaging a course don't limit yourself to only the areas that are open at the inception/design stage...

I may not make it to league tonight b/c I'm stuck at a job site... (long story. Some contractors have to be watched real close)

Regarding Fairmont, a lot has been discussed at the DFOK meetings, park walk throughs, at that CVB event & discussions with the RL County PW Dept. ... I can't explain later.

Regarding Warner, I'd say it would be too confusing to jump back & forth so we're going to leave it at Fairmont through stampede. Just as Kevin said.

Plus, we'll get going on bag tag league pretty soon anyway.

I've got two baskets for league nights! Woo hoo!

I love the idea and will definitely let you use my basket

Kevin, That is almost exactly the plan (except the Warner part). We will move to Fairmont when the baskets are pulled for the Stampede, and we will set up different temporary back 9 layouts with portable baskets. Rick has volunteered his temporary T-Signs, and in between league days we will mark the basket locations with marker flags. I have 3 portable baskets that we can use. Anyone else?

Whats the plan for the doubles league when the baskets get pulled for stampede? I figured we would just play at Warner a couple weeks and then Fairmont for a couple weeks. I want to propose that we try and round up 9 portable baskets for one of the nights at Fairmont and start getting some good ideas for the additional back 9. This might be hard to coordinate people to bring 9 baskets for a league night, I know that will be difficult to round up all the baskets but it will be really fun to de ... more

I want to provide some additional information & opinion about the Tuttle Tuesday Ace Fund to think about prior to Tuesday.

The subject of adjusting the Tuttle Tuesday ace fund structure has been discussed at all three of the DFOK meetings this spring. (Plus, for many years prior to that (I can explain later)). There were seven Tuttle Tuesday league members present at Thursday’s DFOK meeting, thus many great ideas were discussed. However, for a few different reasons no ... more

Ace Pool Clarification...

With the Ace Pool approaching $200, I just want to clarify that we will hold back $20 for every $100 in the Ace Pool if someone hits an ace to reseed the Ace Pool. So... once we hit $200, we will hold back $40 if someone hit's an ace.

Also, someone asked last week if two people hit an ace the same night, who gets the money? As far as I am concerned, if more than one person hits an ace the same night, they should split the money rather than try to figure out ... more
