Hey everyone! I don't know if you will get a notification for an inactive league, but I wanted to give you an update on the 2012 Ace Fund.
We finished the season with $219 in the Ace Fund. At our last league rounds, we discussed using the money for a big end of season barbeque/party, which we never did. We also had $28.01 in unused Ace Fund from 2011 left over after spending the rest on course improvements at Tuttle. I have rolled that over into the 2012 Ace Fund and closed the book ...

Ice Bowl*****T-Shirt Order Deadline*****
Ice Bowl Registration is still open, but the ABSOLUTE DEADLINE for those who plan to raise $30 and/or 30 lbs of food to earn the "Will Disc Golf for Food" T-Shirt is THIS SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 16TH AT 5PM! In other words, you must register for the tournament and indicate on the registration form that you want to earn a t-shirt No Later than this Saturday if you want to actually receive a t-shirt. Watch for the 2nd Annual LCM Ice Bowl charity tournament coming up most likely one of the first two Saturdays in February. Also, watch for the 3rd Annual LCM "Break the Chains" tournament to be held in early April.

Congratulations to Austin Cranston on breaking 300 season points, and winning the season points battle. Five additional players broke 200, and a total of 12 people exceeded 100 points this season! Great job everyone!

Tonight was the last night of the 2012 Manhattan Area Disc Golf Doubles League. Daylight Savings will come to an end this weekend, effectively shutting us down. We have just over $200 in the Ace Fund. We will hold a small portion of that back to do some course repairs, and spend the rest on an end of the season picnic, probably coming up soon on a non-KSU-home-football-game-Saturday.

My son has a concert tonight, so I won't be able to run league. I'm sure you'll all do fine without me! If someone could keep track of scores and ace fund, that would be great! Start time is 5:30.

FYI... I have 18 new paid registrants, whose names I have not yet put on the Registration List for the ACE RACE as of 7pm on Sunday evening. I will leave the registration page up until tomorrow morning, Monday, October 1st. If you still want to play in the Ace Race, you still have a chance to register and pay online.

Remember, ACE RACE REGISTRATION DEADLINE is THIS COMING SUNDAY, September 30th! If I do not receive your PAYMENT by that date, you will not receive a players package or play in the Ace Race!

Ace Race will definitely be Saturday, October 20th at 1pm at Fairmont. Registration deadline is September 30. I will have the web page up for registration by the end of this week.

Where did this 1 penny come from?!
I'm sick today and will not be at league. I was there almost every week last season. If I was there toninght, I would be for using part of the fund for Fairmont and cary over some to start the ace fund out interesting.
