One week to go!

We had a huge night tonight with 37 players throwing doubles, one ace and a 10 down for the tournament 13 hole course. Looks like things are heating up for some interesting competition for the Clash this weekend. Jason Back moves into first place this week, but things could change on the last night.

On a sad not this was Nick's last week as he will be leaving us to go back home to Pennsylvania. Have a safe trip back home and you will be missed. Three Weeks to go

We had a huge tournout last night with 35 players for doubles at Leverich Park. We only have three weeks left, but that means that over 20 people can get in the minimum 8 rounds. Best of all the tee pads played very well!

I know there was a few bag tags that didn't get distributed correctly, and a few others that got distributed correctly, but didn't update right. If you played a bag tag challenge and didn't submit your round please do so as soon as possible so the tags get cor ... more

Work Party Wednesday

We WILL be pouring concrete on Wednesday! We need a couple volunteers at 9 a.m. to help prep and then work with the pour in the morning. In the afternoon we need a bunch of volunteers that can come out and stand guard to protect the newly poured pads. We'll need two or three people watching during the afternoon and early evening. Call me at 360-545-DISC (3472) if you can help.

Magic 8

Your top 8 scores are automatically used to figure out your overall score. Now that we have hit week 8 we will start throwing out low scores. Also those that have missed a couple weeks will move up the leaderboard as they catch up with 8 scoring weeks. Only 5 weeks left to improve/finish your scoring.

I'll be accepting prize donations for the overall final winners and consolation prizes for all participants. If you have any ideas, or donations, let me know.

See you Thursday for singles. Ace pot at $25.00

HOT night at Leverich

Two aces, warm weather and a new layout for a couple holes last night.

It was great to have Kevin with us from Calgary (that's in Canada)!

Remember, your top 8 rounds count for the season championship. If you don't play 8 rounds then you are going to be out of the running for a top finish. If you play more than 8 rounds then you get to start throwing out the results from "bad" nights. Right now Denny is in the lead, but Steve E. has a better average, but lower score b ... more

Who brought tag #47

We need to know who brought tag #47 to league last Thursday. That person may have played Eric Matthias, sometime prior to last Thursday, as he is listed with that tag currently. Please let us know as soon as possible!

Thanks, Spencer, John & Others

Sorry I couldn't make it last week, but I see that you left the Ace Pot alone so I can get that next week!

It appears we had a little snafu with the bag tags. Somehow about 7 of the tags got distributed incorrectly. It looks like it started with John (not his fault) being shown to take home tag #47. However, I don't show that anyone put tag #47 into the pool. That means that I think, John, Ryan, Jason, Joel, Nick, Steve and Brian all are off by a tag. We may be able to correct that ... more

8 is a magic number

Just a reminder that we are taking the points from your best 8 rounds to determine the overall winner of the summer league. Coincidentally, there are 8 weeks left. Those that play more than 8 weeks get to throw out the weeks you had bad rounds.

See you next week for doubles.

31 Players, 20 Stumptown Bag Tags

I think everyone was out to get in some more practice for the Bad Monkey Open this weekend. Congratulations to the doubles team of Kris & Jason for shooting a 9 down on 13 holes tonight. Trevor & David each walked away with a $25 to Next Adventure for throwing the secret score tonight. The Ace Pot will be up to $40 next week for another round of singles and we will give away another $25 gift certificate.

Round 1

It only rained a little!

Scores have been posted for round 1. I went ahead and added a junior division. Points are awarded based on 100 for first place. Each subsequent place receives one less point for each stroke higher than the previous place, however, there is a cap of 5 points difference between any two places. Confusing I know. Points from the top eight (8) weeks will be used to determine the overall league winner at the end of the season.

No one hit the ace pot so it will go up to $25 next week!
