End of Season Report

We had another good turn out and great weather for our final night. We had two new players come out bringing our total number of participants to 62. We had 11 players that participated in at least 6 weeks and they each were rewarded with a Dairy Queen gift card.

Next up, watch for Summer League at Leverich Park. The league is scheduled to run on Thursday nights and start on June 4th and runs through August 20th. The format will be alternating weeks of singles and doubles play. We will have an ... more

Final Night!

I ordered a little sunshine for the final night of the Leverich Spring League. Bag Tag #3 will be there. 24 holes of singles is the plan. We'll be awarding small prizes for everyone that scored over 550 points in the league tonight. Come out and support Leverich park's future and have a good time.

One more week.

Doubles is done, Singles next week. Bill & Steve took top honors with a windy CTP to break the tie with George and Jared. Jason & Brian were right behind them. The weather was great.

We have one more week and quite a few that can come out and make the minimum points to win a prize. Don't get your hopes too high, but we'll find a prize for everyone!

P.S. It looks like the league format has been upgraded so I was able to enter tonight's round as an actual doubles round!

Doubles tonight

Weather permitting, 18 holes of doubles tonight at Leverich. Bring your game face!

Monsoon Mondays

Leverich Park was no place for wimps on Monday night. Six players donned wet weather gear and headed out for a round of Birdie Race, and JW and SC went birdie for birdie on 8, 9, 11 & 12 to tie at 5 under.

Next week it promises to be dryer and we will play 18 holes of doubles. There are only two weeks left until we take a break and start back up in June, possibly on a different night and with a more consistent format.

We'll have small prizes for everyone that scores 550 or higher for the season so come on out and throw some plastic with us!

Awesome weather

Good times by all and Justin especially as he sunk the ace during match play and prevailed in the tie-breaker to take the round at Leverich last night. It has been great playing with you Justin!

Singles tonight

Just a reminder that we will be playing singles tonight. We have some new bag taggers amongst the regular players and the weather should be decent tonight. Invite your friends, bring extra water, have fun! If we have enough players we'll be giving away prizes to the low score, the median score, and the high score today. Might even be able to throw in a CTP prize if we have time. The more that play, the more prizes we can give away!

Wind, Rain, Sleet, Hail, and a little Sun!

Seventeen brave souls made it out tonight to play a round of three-headed monster at Leverich. Congratulations to the team of Jeff E., Roy C. & Bill O. for ignoring the weather and nailing a 7 down.

Don't forget to invite your friends, co-workers and family to come out on Saturday at 11 a.m. for the Community Day. Our goal is to introduce as many to the sport as possible. Also, we can use a few more volunteer guides to take new players around the course, so please stop by the informa ... more

We now have over $200 for tee pads just from the league. Combine that money with the $200 that was pledged or given TODAY and we have added $400 to the fund in the last four weeks!

Luck of the Irish

Okay, some loved the green disc night and others hated it. Congratulations to Tony for taking first place with a -6. Not too shabby for only throwing 3 discs.

Also of note, we had 7 Stumptown Bag Tags in play so that should draw some more players next week.

Next week's format is random draw doubles.

We added another $50.00 to the Tee Pad fund tonight, brining the total to $80.00!

Great Turnout!

We had 15 guys show up for the first week of play. We gave away two discs to the top two finishers. Congratulations to Jason & Bill for their tie at -3. Stumptown bag tags exchanged hands. Points were awarded to all players.

Remember next week, in honor of St. Patrick's day we will only allow you to play with three discs and there will be a one stroke penalty for each disc you take on the course that isn't green!

Tee Pad fund is at $30.00.
