I'm sorry to say, i may not be able to be there sunday. i was suddenly asked to host my cousins who are coming in town saturday night, and staying until mid afternoon sunday to go to the tigers game. its been over 3 years since they have traveled to the great D, I'm usually the one to make the drive to their side of the state. they are staying w me, and i wouldn't feel like a proper host if i wasn't there w them. my one cousin just had his first kid almost a year ago, so ... more
scores updated, sorry I've been mad busy. chuck was entered in as a cali, only because his partner was a new guy and theres no point in putting him into the league for the last day. it has no effect on anything so it doesn't matter, as long as chucks points are valid... which they are.
final round is the 5th at 8am that TEE OFF AT 8AM!!!
TEE OFF AT 8AM!!!

see ya there.
updated the ace pool after recounting and factoring the back pay from this week and last... wasn't 183, was actually 187...
players pool is 149
we've managed to raise 310 for the course fund just in league alone.
see you in the morning gang.
the remaining 3 weeks will be 9 holes only, and we will still start at 6:30.
the proposed final tournament rounds are proposed for saturday sept 27th or sat oct 11th. oct 4th is not an option, as i will be working the brys ace race. please leave your input for final round. remember, we will play 18 at east china course, and follow that, directly, w a 18 hole round at ira. after the round, we could bbq or something if everyone is interested. 50% of the ace pool will be used for pay outs ...

Longs or shorts for the 9 holes? Maybe an everyother hole layout. Long then short back and fort. Then swap the holes for long and short the next time.
Due to the forecast of consistent sever storms until 8, and the siren now going off, league will be canceled tonight for safety reasons.
due to the late time frame of the league, and the warning day light hours as the season grows older... I've decided to shave the last 6 weeks of league, off the schedule. that leaves 6 weeks remaining. the season will now culminate on sept 24th, and we will discuss a final round format tonight.
I'm being safe... Looks consistent and is forecast to be until 8. A few folks travel quite a distance to be there every week and it would suck to show up and have to call it.
ace pool is at $114, player end of the year pool is at $91 and total raised for the course thus far in league is $181
there was an issue w cali and ftp not being ironed out properly, so it was discussed post round. from here on out, if you draw as a cali for the round, you must declare BEFORE THE ROUND STARTS that both of your shots will be used as ftp, and if you declare both shots, you must pay and additional $2 to the 50/50 ftp pool before you go to start the round. this will be the rule ...

3 new guys showed up this week and id like to welcome them and thank them. Steve, Justin and Curt, i hope you gentlemen join us again next week. justin elected not to pay the back ace pool this week, and there fore, will not be eligible to win the ace pool until he squares up for the back weeks, or an ace is hit and the pool is reset.
that being said, no ace has been hit yet, and the pool jumps to break the triple digits and is at $101 w the addition of the new players this week.

new comer, but old friend and quack pack member, nate underwood joined the league this week. he managed to snag the ftp win this week as well, getting him $12 and the disc. he defends his title this coming week.
we added $24 to the course fund, we've raised a total of $122 for the course. the pool is at $64 due to some costs to the course. total over $1500 in the course fund (I'm about to run my spread sheets)

one new player this week, welcome to david.
we added $22 to the course fund.
ace pool climbs to $62 and casey blasted through chains on 3 but it didn't stick unfortunately.
the players end of the year pay out pool is now at $50
sunday is the tournament and its almost 100% full so if you're playing make sure you register for one of those last 6 spots.
also the ace race on sept 20th is pre pay only so make sure you register for that as well! see you on sunday at the tournament, or next week. bring a friend.
This was week 3 of leagues at Ira, and again new players showed up. Id like to welcome my partner, and absolute new to the sport, had never even thrown a disc once before joining us, Matt Wojcik who was a great addition to our league. We hope you will join us again Matt.
Congrats to the Cali and winner of the round, Allen... some really nice LONG puts, solidified him as the leagues record for the course at a nice -11 under.
The ace pool grew to $47 tonight, and we had two close calls. M ...

The new gents all squared up w the ace pool and each of the 3 new guys was a part of the top 2 teams this week. Last week was week 1 of IFFDGC and we had a huge turn out of 17 players. Not bad for a brand new leagues maiden night. we raised $34 for the course fund and the ace pool was not broken, however we had a few close calls. The ace pool was $17 and so is the players end of the year pay out pool.
CTP winner for the week was Anthony Litts aka the Koz man comith. nice work Koz. he took home the trophy buzzz.
Congrats Neil. Really good placement on your shot. Can't wait to see next weeks hole. Maybe hole 6 long. ;)
the ftp is completely random and drawn by playing cards at around 6-6:10... so we will see man.
also, the final $100 of the ace pool will pay out 50/30/20 to the teams... its up to you guys if you want to pay $5 for that round as if it were a league day and just use %100 of that to beef up the pay outs in addition to the ace pool $100. players match ups will be seeded as if this were play off hockey.
