Positives for the proposed holes- Challenging, better use of trees, use of changing elevation, much better course flow as there is no walking from 11 to 12.

Weakness for proposed holes- Agree with jon and rick on #11 throwing blind into walking trail is an accident waiting to happen (unfortunately as you guys are working so hard for support for disc golf I would hate to see it be lost because of a preventable accident), My group had two of four players end up in fair way of 13 on no. 12 with ... more

On the proposed #11, I have to agree with Rick's concerns. If you get through the tunnel to the crest of the hill, then you have a pretty good view of the basket and the path. You may have to wait a while if you see someone coming, which can be frustrating and lead to bad shots, as well as the temptation to throw before the path user is out of harm's way.

This hole should be eliminated now, rather than after someone gets hit (& injured).

In my opinion, it's not a matter of if someone will get injured, it's a matter of when someone gets injured. Nobody wants that. Plus, I suspect if the "wrong" ... more

Thanks for your ongoing work on the Riley Center course, Mathew. I really like the recent changes in tee and basket placements. And having a bulletin board is a nice step forward.

This is the first I've heard you speak of wood-beam tees. Is that the end goal, as instead of concrete, or just a transitional measure until funding for concrete can be secured? If wood beams are the new plan, would the whole tee be wood beams, or would they just mark/outline the teebox? If it's the latter, what would you think of adding wood chips so that the tees would still be usable in wet weather?
