Disc continued

I have decided to discontinue Flip Side, Too much responsability in my real life to run a league. Mondays are booked solid in the spring summer anyway..

next league day

The Flipside will be starting march 11th Monday at 615 at Marion. Daylight savings will be in effect so it should be dark by then. Glow Glow Glow. The time will be ajusted to glow as long as people can make it out, and until it gets ridiculous. Eventually it will be a daylight league.

california play

If there is an odd number of players in play, California play will be utilized.

If no-one wants (cali) a random number will be picked from the bag. If your number is pulled MAN up and take 1 extra shot per hole.

If there are other players who want Cali, all will flip a dis****il a Cali is decided.
Flipping rules are flexible and will be decided at the time of flipping.

No extra $5.00 if you are Cali.

ace pool rules

Ace pool will pay out 50 percent if hit so there is always something to play for.
Cali second shot will also count for ace pool.

If you are running late and we start ahead of you, but it has been stated you are playing the league, you are not eligible for ace pool.

Ace pool MUST be paid for in advance. (So someone may put you in)

At the end of the league season/series, the ace pool will be paid out at 100 percent so I am not holding your money.

Finale results

Thanks again for making this league a success...

So Jamie showed up but did not play and gets second in the series for that $10.00 payout and a disc.

Ron Howard wins outright $20.00 and a disc.

Jeff Danes made it eventually and gets 3rd in the series which paid out a disc and a mini.

I won the ace pool throw off and walked away with $137.00 my second ace pool here and I will leave another $25.00 in the pool for the future.

Ace pool is now at $50.00 and will be active at the new monday roving league.

Marion disc golf league?

YES or NO???

Would anyone even show up for Marion disc golf league???? This post will be deciding factor.

Any suggestions for a league monday afternoon/night??

Last Thursday League at Indy

This Thursday is the series Finale! If you are in the series you need to be there to collect your winnings. If you do not show your winnings get passed on to the next player in the series. There are 10 people in the series, and I am paying out 3 spots, 1st is $20, and a disc, second is $10 and a disc 3rd is a disc. (I destroyed you guys but I am not accepting payouts from MY Club) So far Daemon Stahlin is leading with 98 points followed closely by Jamie Mosier at 88 points. Third place ... more

So far Daemon Stahlin is leading with 98 points followed closely by Jamie Mosier at 88 points. Third place is a tie currently with Jeff Danes and Ron Howard both at 56 points.

If no one hits an ace we will have a ctp of my choice for the whole pool. I am subtracting The $25 dollars from the ace pool from my ace I never collected. I did this to keep the pool alive and bring in players. When the league changes I will have $25 still in the pool at the new league course Marion Township (glow)

Thanks to everyone for making this an active league throughout the winter and for the good times. I would love to see some of you come out to Marion in the upcoming spring/summer glow league.

Great to see everyone out today! 10 players solid! Jimmy Bates, Ron Howard tie me and Mosier at -13, but We got smoked on the ctp for the extra $10. We finished by 5 and the sun was still out! Thanks for playing and we will see you on the FLIP SIDE

The first league of the year

First off a big thanks to Luna Disc who showed up and donated a CTP for our humble league! Not only did he bestow us with gifts and merriment, he also donated a ctp sign, which I sorely needed! Thanks a bunch Luna!! I just happened to bring some free delicious Costco Pizza for the guys and we had the second biggest turn out for Flip Side to date! 11 people and Some legends for sure! It was a great time and I didnt get too drunk or pout too bad for losing discs and missing 15 footers as usual. ... more

Remember leagues will be pushed back to 230 now and that means we start at 230. Because of the sunlight situation we may be forced to play 18 holes here soon. More on that at leagues.

I will pay 40% deep, much like a regular league payout. First second and third place will get a Discraft Titanium Disc (of my choice) first place gets first pick of whats up for grabs, second place second pick... Series info

So here is how I will run the points system unless someone has a better idea. You will get 2 points, (1 for you and 1 for your partner for playing). Plus an additional 2 points for every player you beat. Right now our series pays out in bragging rights. I will see what I can do for the winner(s)..
