DO Days at the ROCK!

Thanks to everyone that came out to play this weekend. We had a great turnout in terms of golfers and chili entries, congratulations to the winners of both competitions! I've organized the field from the event into the appropriate divisions for the DO Series format. Players accounts will be linked to the league the next time they play at a series event!

Our first day at Rockburn coincides with an outstanding fund raising event, the Rockburn Chili Cookoff Icebowl! There will be a singles tournament in the morning followed by the chili contest where all participants sample the chili and vote on the best. We’ll be there hanging out if anyone wants to stop by to do some putting or play some more dgolf afterwards! Hope to see you out there! Rockburn Branch Park

Divisions- Open, Masters, GM, Advanced, Intermediate

Cost: $20.00 for those that bring chili or side dish, $30.00 for all others.
*$10.00 from all entries to Food Bank, $10.00+ to prizes

9:00- 10:00 Registration, meet at the pavillion near 4's tee.

Chili contest after the round!

Chili Cookoff Details:
- Bring an appropriate serving utensil, extension cord, and surge protector.
- If you bring a side dish, bring $10 worth.
- You will be assigned a number to label your chili with upon registration.
- Spread crock pots out in the designated area so they aren't right next to each other. This gives the crowd room to move and avoids cross chili contamination from serving utensil mix ups (a big issue last year...at least for one person ).
- Until notice is given to dig in, sample size portions are to be eaten to allow everyone to taste the variety of entries.
- All participants will cast a single vote for the best chili.
- Payout is $40 for 1st, $30 for 2nd, $20 for 3rd
