First off I would like to thank the hosts and players of the D.O.R.C.s alternate rounds for being understanding of the D.O.R.C.s mission to ENJOY early Sunday morning disc golf. By playing alternate rounds this mission may reach others whom may otherwise miss out on this joy. With that said I would like to share some discoveries I have made. 1) The D.O.R.C.s league is more widely know to players as a beginners league as it is. 2) Beginners have a league where they may learn from others ... more

With that said I would like to share some discoveries I have made.
1) The D.O.R.C.s league is more widely know to players as a beginners league as it is.
2) Beginners have a league where they may learn from others without donating any money to prizes.
3) Players may compete with one another but never any hard feelings
4) Five of the top ten DGLA leaders are D.O.R.C.s regulars (a sign of success in my opinion)
5) Alternate rounds may serve the D.O.R.C.s mission just as well as the regular scheduled round.
Now to the point; D.O.R.C.s is considering expanding the concept of alternate rounds to "out of town" areas including Portland.
This would require hosts at various courses at the same time. That would make it impossible to score two D.O.R.C.s round in one week.
In the Salem area we are lucky to have so many leagues and such a full schedule it is difficult to play one league without missing out on another you would like play too. Portland is not so lucky. In the light of DGLA points series sharing players is key to serving beginners and competitive players as well.

I have an issue with poison oak. Keizer is bad. Can we have an alternate round at Church Park in Sublimity? I would be happy to host it. Same 7:00 time. Please let me know. Thank you DORCS!!!

From what people are saying I don't think Corban is going to be a user friendly course. Perhaps we should go somewhere else. Customers have been saying it is very rough and you are playing in adverse conditions. Just a thought

Good turnout today at Cascades considering the late schedule change. Doubles format and three new D.O.R.C.s added to the players list. 20% of the Bag Tags in the dump were "Top-Ten" Bag Tags and #1 came back in time thanks to "Lucky" honoring the D.O.R.C.s system. Thank you for coming out to play D.O.R.C.s today.

A bunch of us want to play DORCs at Church Park in Sublimity. It is Mothers Day and this would get us home early and if someone loses a disc there it would be amazing!!!

Beast (if you want) make me an admin for 20 minutes and I'll changed the last two weeks that have wonky scores because of the layouts. I already called you so as you know you have me at your service and my laptop. I know yours is on the fritZ and literally it's a 20 second to 20 minutes fix. Thanks for all you are trying to do :)

I'm having trouble with DGS. I can't change the layout for today's D.O.R.C.s round to "Right to Left full 18"

The next two weeks schedule for D.O.R.C.s looks good to go, no conflicting events in the area. See you D.O.R.C.s out there:)

Anyone up for RIPT at Keizer on Sunday at 8? We will only play the dry section, 1-9 twice and then we are heading out to Willamette Mission to work on the course.
