What if you waive part of the membership for so many hours of service in any form of volunteerism it may be i.e work parties or trash out events attended and even possibly raise the membership price up to $15 for those who do not qualify for the discount and maybe that will help to get a better turnout for work parties and such maybe even for those who host a tournament could even qualify for the discount.
Doing this will give people a chance to show their dedication to CCDG.

if you want to promote course clean-up that's great. most golfers do pick up trash and have been doing so since the beginning of time. not even close to everyone attends work parties, and picking up trash is a part of a work party. i'd like to see a waive(or reduced price) of membership to people who either meet a certain work party attendance percentage for the year or donate a set number of hours to work parties per year. that would be a HUGE change to our current work party status. and to our course status. and to the amount of trash on the course.

The membership waiver is not to be a reward for D.O.R.C.s picking up trash, but a thanks to valued members who make a good example of proper etiquette to raise awareness to how a disc golfer should appreciate the course. I think it is the duty of CCDG hosts to promote proper etiquette at every opportunity and maybe we don't make enough examples of it to newbies.

Picking up trash is te duty of everyone who enjoys the parks. Disc golfer or not. Ccdg member or not. People shouldn't have to be rewarded to be courteous and respectful to OREGON. Everyone keep up the good work.

"free membership" this is a joke right ? i mean realy we have all picked up trash off the course but now if someone plays dorks and gets trash then they get a free membership? what about the people that run club events that acctualy benefit the club, or the workers at the work partys, i mean anybody could drum up a reason to get a free membership, i do work partys and pickup trash and dont do dorcs, for any reason other than just because its what i choose to do.

As the Director of the D.O.R.C.s league I'm always trying to find ways to serve the leagues players as well as serve CCDG. I know this league does not bring any "Club Take" to CCDG or ever will, but D.O.R.C.s has brought many players to the wonderful world of disc golf and thus to CCDG membership. If you like sleeping in on Sundays this is NOT for you. I'm a married man who gets out to disc golf about twice a week. For about 2 years now I have played disc golf at local courses EVERY sunday at sun-up RELIGIOUSLY. The game is on for Bag Tags unless too many pepole show up and we decide to play doubles. Most of the "Day Of Rest Crew"(D.O.R.C.s) needs to be at church by 10am so READY golf is how we play, so keep up the pace. If you don't have a sence of humor or can't handle heckling, STAY HOME! We are out for fun so bring a smile if you can get up early enough.

D.O.R.C.s at Taloali was fun even with only 17 baskets:) Sorry couldn't stay for the Throw it challenge. Heard it was a blast:) Congrats James & Connie on your first time stepping up to be Tournament Director, CCDG thanks you for the effort. Hosting an event is NOT easy and it takes outgoing, disc golf loving folks like you to a new level of love for the game. :)

what gives with this league? you all are already at taloali before the tourney yet none of you stay to support the club and the cause? i personaly contacted 6 people from out of town that came to that tourney to support the cause and yet im the one you lippy lil pre-maddona ****es reffer to as "chity". LOOK IN THE MIRROR! and get on the true track.

I'm back on track again, looking to bring my A-game to the Dallas D.O.R.C.s next week. I hope there will be a good turnout since D.O.R.C.s will be starting earlier. Should I set earliest starts to 7am for the rest of the season?

hope all you dorcs are going to help sapport the efforts of CCDG to try and raise funds for t-pads at taloali on sunday? or do i have to travel at 6am to beat you, <not worth it>? just come have some fun at the "throw it challenge" and lets save the chit talkin?
