The D.O.R.C.s schedule is back on alphabetical order for now. As some local favorite events become scheduled I will likely move D.O.R.C.s to the same venue as the event without changing the rest of the schedule. In that case some D.O.R.C.s will be back to back weeks at the same venue.

D.O.R.C.s seldom venture far from Salem but when we do its an all day event. The D.O.R.C.s are playing the Newberg circuit this week, meeting for car pooling at Bush Pasture north parking lot at 6am. Please comment if you would like to join the group and have an empty seat or are looking for a ride.

After the April 28th Newberg Circuit D.O.R.C.s league the D.O.R.C.s schedule will return to alphabetical rotation.

Cascades, Corban Collage, Dallas City Park, Keizer Rapids, Oregon State Hospital, Woodmansee Park.

D.O.R.C.s traveling to Bryant and Newberg circuit

On April 7th at 8am the D.O.R.C.s will tee-off at Bryant park and on April 28th at 6am D.O.R.C.s will meet at Bush Pasture to car pool to the Newberg Circuit for an all day D.O.R.C.s event. Best total scores of the day on April 28th will be awarded a green star. DNF will NOT qualify for the green star.

As the sun is rising earlier we are adhering the start time to 7:30am for the next 3 weeks, then the start time will adjust again to 7:00am.

On January 20th at Dallas City Park, Chain Gang is hosting an Ace Race. Registration is at 8am (early bird gets the ACE) and sun up that day is at 7:43am!

BEFORE the Ace Race at 6:30am the D.O.R.C.s will play it's FIRST ever "Glow Lone Wolf" round. Bring your glow discs and warm up with the D.O.R.C.s. I will be there at 6am with coffee and donuts for D.O.R.C.s, please consider sticking around for the Ace Race as it will likely be a FUN day of golf.

D.O.R.C.s Format (revised)

I have herd from the D.O.R.C.s and some suggestions for changes on format drawing make sense.

1) After a card is drawn for format, that card will not be used the next week to avoid back-to-back funky format.

2) There will be 5 cards used; 2 cards singles, 1 card doubles, 1 card RIPT, 1 card Lone Wolf, to increase the likelihood of singles being drawn as it is the preferred format.

D.O.R.C. format

The founders of D.O.R.C.s implementing a new method of deciding format. From now on the D.O.R.C.s will draw from a hat one of four cards before starting the round. The four cards will read 1)Singles, 2)Doubles, 3)RIPT, 4)Lone Wolf. That card will determine the format. This will eliminate any debate about what FUN format should be played.

Next weeks D.O.R.C.s league will be at Horning's Hideout. In D.O.R.C.s fashion a "FUNKY FORMAT" will apply!:)

(1st ROUND) Highland Course "singles stroke play"

(2nd ROUND) Meadow Ridge Course "doubles", teams selected by best score teamed with worst score from 1st round

(3rd ROUND) Canyon Course "LONE WOLF", scores will be combined from 1st & 2nd ROUND, points earned in "LONE WOLF" will be subtracted from combined scores! :)

Lowest score will earn the green star.

Ok so I need help from my fellow disc golfers out there so here it is.

I would like to see who could donate so items for our troops, currently my son Ryan Wildcard Harpster is on deployment in Afghanistan and his FST team is made up of 20 men and women. What I would like is to see if we can pull our resources and fill gift boxes for them and collect funds to send them. If you wanna or can help send me a personal message and I will send you a list of suggestions and then we can work out getting to me.

Due to the late start I was going to leave D.O.R.C.s scheduled at Corbin for Oct 14th but by popular demand I have changed D.O.R.C.s to Cascades at 7am. The Bag Tag Finale starts at 10am so there should be plenty of time for a round, maybe we can play doubles to speed things along.

I have changed the July 29th D.O.R.C.s from Dallas to Keizer and the Aug. 5th D.O.R.C.s form Keizer to Dallas. The reason for this change is that I would like play the M.V.D.S.A. Hot August Monthly and I will gladly shuttle players to Dave Heider's and back to Dallas City Park on that day. The B.O.B. Now seats 12 lucky riders so reserve your seat by PM to me and as always the CCDG shuttle is free and lunch provided:) oh ya D.O.R.C.s tee-off at 7am on Aug. 5th and off to Dave's by 10:45am

D.O.R.C.s schedule has been set into 2013 in DGscene leagues system and automatically shows next events date and time after last event date passes. Thanks for the suggestion Mr. Clean:)

Now D.O.R.C.s schedule is on a cycle now that is alphabetical. 1st week-Cascades, 2nd week-Corbin Collage, 3rd week-Dallas, 4th week-Keizer, 5th week-Woodmansee, then it will repeat. D.O.R.C.s will change schedule for SPECIAL locations like Taloali, Champoge, Milo, etc.

D.O.R.C.s is now on the scene as a "Private" league! This will make it easier to post scores and score Rivalry. All players will be added as editors to staff as league grows for posting results. D.O.R.C.s is by invite and subject to change at any time due to the social nature of this league.
