Someone going to be running dubs tomorrow?

Rich ayers   13 hours ago

Yes

- scottishrob -   10 hours ago

But you'll be in a tournament.

Kevin Gough    3 days ago

Does dubs at Cascades really start at noon on August 30th? It has always started at 10, so I just want to make sure that is not a mistake.

Disc Golf Scene isn't super reliable and does some wonky things - http://capitalcitydiscgolf.com/calendar.html is always the primary source of information for CCDG events.

- scottishrob -   3 days ago

It starts at 10am.

Kevin Gough   2 days ago

Thanks guys

We will be having dubs tomorrow at Minet d.g.c. starting at 10 so be at Mecanico by 945 to check in!! Normal Capitol City Dubs Buy-ins. There will be an optional 2 dollar buy in per person, if you pay the optional 2 dollars and your team wins you will earn a free entry to the tournament.. Must have at least 25 people buy in to the optional pot in order for this promotion to be active.

The MINET Disc Golf Course is located at Riverview Park on the western bank of the Willamette River in Independence, OR. We'll have CCDG's random Sunday Doubles taking place there this weekend, on 26 July 2015, if you'd like a course preview. We won't have the full 18 in for doubles, only the permanent portion of the course will be played.

Anyone playing dubs @ Bryant tomorrow interested in carpooling?

- scottishrob -   June 28 at 12:06am

I have 1 seat. Also check with Barry.

Barry "B" Bolliger   June 28 at 12:12am

I got a seat

Stacey "Stace' the Ace"    June 18 at 6:29pm

What's the deal with Riverfront in Independence? Is this course done....playable? How many holes does it have? Worth playing or just a place to practice up shots and putting?

- scottishrob -   June 18 at 8:46pm

Not finished.

- scottishrob -   June 18 at 8:47pm

But the holes that are there are playable.

Stacey "Stace' the Ace"    June 1 at 4:26pm

Was fun playing Wheatland Sunday! I really think this course should be added to the rotation.

Posted results from last Sunday??

- scottishrob -   March 10 at 2:32pm

Barry said that he was going to do it. You might want to remind him.

Tyler Franklin    December 28 at 12:40am

Is keizer even playable right now? I havnt been out there but id bet that half if that course is flooded.

- scottishrob -   December 28 at 2:08am

If part of the course is flooded out we will play the dry nine twice through.

Steve Jones    December 21 at 12:14am

I just went to dallas park at 9pm hole 1 ,2 and behind 18 the water was at the sidewalk so i'am heading to daves for a noon start

Erik was my partner for the 8/3/14 round at Dallas and his ace was 100% legit. There were 6 of us and we all pitched in $5 each. $1 each for the club. $1 each for the ace. $3 each for the winners. The winners were paid and Erik still has the club and ace pot money ($12 total). Bad, bad decision if CCDG Club doesn't pay him.

Mr CLEAN   August 17, 2014 at 2:28pm

...and what did he pay his partner?

Kevin Gough   August 20, 2014 at 9:12pm

Nothing. I asked him at the start of the round if he wanted to split it if we hit it. He said no because we wouldn't be paid right away and we don't see eachother very often. I talked to him at Woodmansee on Sunday and he said that he did get paid. That's good. The club voted to not pay out any more ace pots, though, if a TD isn't present for the tournament.

THE "BEAST" OF THE WOODS    July 22, 2014 at 1:07pm

Is anyone going to post results from Woodmansee?

Barry "B" Bolliger    June 11, 2014 at 5:57pm

also if anybody has any wheel barrels and rakes that would be awesome work party should only last about one or two hours at most

Steven Winslow    June 6, 2014 at 2:00pm

There will be a work party following Sunday Doubles on 29 June 2014 at Woodmansee to reconstruct the teepad. POC is Barry Bolliger, if you have information about the original teepad construction (where the metal frame tiles came from) or access to surplus gravel, please get ahold of Barry.

Thanks to those who made it out for the 1 year anniversary, the weather totally cooperated. Extra thanks to Wagman, Marshall, and Van Fleet for donating to the giveaway for a total of 12 discs given away. Lets make it another great year.

No worries, Rick would likely have beat me out on the DGLA points anyway. I don't think I can catch him unless he quits playing or something. I was cold and tried anyway.

- scottishrob -   February 9, 2014 at 3:53pm

Barry was, but couldn't make it. I had other plans.

THE "BEAST" OF THE WOODS   February 9, 2014 at 4:06pm

D.O.R.C.s did not want to stay for Dubs otherwise there may have been enough players for me to run it, but with only Rick and I it was a no go.

Jeff "MaxPsych" Heltsley    January 28, 2014 at 4:49pm

Are the Sunday Doubles still on this weekend with the Superbowl Scramble happening?

- scottishrob -   January 29, 2014 at 3:48pm

Robert Jones will be there to run it.

Jeff "MaxPsych" Heltsley   January 29, 2014 at 4:22pm

Cool. Thanks for the update. Did not want to drive out from Silverton if it was not happening this week.
