Handicap league (your score is adjusted based on your skill level so that everyone has a chance to win). Sign-up 10:45. Tee off 11:00. Everyone is welcome: University members and non-University members, advanced players and beginners. Come play any week, even if you don't start the first week. No need to commit. Fall league

Hi everybody, The season has ended. Congratulations to our top finishers who won some sweet discs this past Sunday at the league finale! We'll continue to run the league on Sundays. This coming week we'll tee off at our regular time (11:00). For the following week, I am opening the floor for discussion regarding a new time. Some people have suggested beginning a little bit earlier (10:00 or 10:30) to allow people time to get home afterward to watch the football games. Perhaps a time later ... more

Season Finale

Hey discers, This coming Sunday, September 18, will be our season finale! Come out and have some fun! After our regular league round, stick around for some lunch (Jamie will be heading this up--watch for an email from him about what to bring), and then another fun round--this time in doubles format. We should be finished up by 4:00 or 4:30. If you can't stay that long, you can just leave after lunch. Also, don't forget that double points will be in play again for the last league round. Updates

Hi everybody, A few updates about the league here: 1.) I've made some minor changes to handicap calculations. Now, instead of getting 80% of your handicap as a stroke adjustment, everyone will receive 85%. This should tip the balance slightly more in favor of higher handicap players. Additionally, handicaps are now based on the previous 10 rounds instead of only the previous 5. Some players were having streaks of good rounds that made their handicap lower than it should have been. New scor ... more

The league is growing...

Hi Everybody, We had our best turnout yet for our league round yesterday. 12 players, including 4 new players. Way to go, everybody! Don't forget that for every new player you bring to league, you get 1 bonus league point. At the end of the season, points leaders will receive prizes.
