So I got word from the Kaptin about "raiding" Ypsi Dubs since Ben has voted that way and we must ask Ben to re-vote if he so chooses. This also ties into Dan's nod to K-Town league up in Milford. The Kaptin's ruling is this:

A. It's not the first of the month, so there's no cash round to speak of until April. We are following standard Pirate rules, cash round is at the first of every month. Yes, there are exceptions but we don't make rules for the except ... more

B. Cash Round in March was moved (an exception to the rule) to 3/10/13. Our raid on the Detroit Disc Golf League @ Belle Isle was the "official" cash round for 24 Cha!ns. Cash round resumes in April

Since it's wide open as Mr Shaffer denotes, then I'll vote for Hudson Mills. We need to get our warm up in before the round that leads all rounds. Which is perfect for St. Patty's Day. We can work on warming up the livers and our arms for the round of rounds

SO!!! In the last few weeks there was some talk back and forth about the April 14th Bag Tag Challenge Tournament. I realize now that part of the issue some have had has a lot to do with the way I pressented the information. For that I would like to appologize. Let me explain this one more time with a bit of added detail I though was known by all. April 14th is a Tournament for all who wish to play reguardless of weather they played in the winter bag tag or not. HOWEVER!!! (pay attention clo ... more

SO!!! In the last few weeks there was some talk back and forth about the April 14th Bag Tag Challenge Tournament. I realize now that part of the issue some have had has a lot to do with the way I pressented the information. For that I would like to appologize. Let me explain this one more time with a bit of added detail I though was known by all. April 14th is a Tournament for all who wish to play reguardless of weather they played in the winter bag tag or not. HOWEVER!!! (pay attention closely boys, and girls) this is NOT the bag tag it's self. The bag tag challenge concludes the week before the tournament, and prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd as well as a special something for 24 will be handed out at that time, and tags collected, and not returned. The tournament is to play for an entirely different set of prizes, and fun. Where the tags them self will be part of the prize, and will help pick the tag you have to start the next year. It is an optional tournament that has nothing to do with the bag tag challenge. If you paid $10 your money went to the prizes awarded the week before. If you are a tag holder of the season you get a $10 off the $30 that is pretty much the standard of all tournaments held. Just like everything else in 24 Cha!ns it is completely optional. You can even come out the day of, and play with, but if you don't pay you don't get any prizes. I hope this helps to clear up and confustion my past post may have caused. We do understand there are hard time across the board when it comes to money, Thats why we always try to make sure that there is an option to just play for free unless we raid other peoples games at which time we respect them, and play their way, but sense this is a 24 Cha!ns event we want everyone to be able to come out and just have fun. Directions to Belle Isle: Please give me a call if you get lost 734-276-7207.

Bridge is right off of Jefferson heading north from downtown. M10 the lodge turns into Jefferson after you pass under the decaying behemoth that is Cobo. DO NOT follow the signs to Canada, unless you want to come visit me, eh.

After crossing the bridge onto the island:
-Follow/Turn left down Central Ave.
-go straight through intersection with big statue in the middle of it.
-Left on Portage Way (small ... more

COME ONE COME ALL!!! Time to load up and head out this weekend boys. This week we get some good old fashion pirate antics going down. While I fully understand due to the time constraints not all pirates will be able to make it, but for those who can it will be one for the books. Sunday morning Belle Isle Michigan. We have given some warning to this up and coming raid, but I don't think they truely know what they are in for. We will be meeting up at the Belle Isle Disc Golf Course at ou ... more

COME ONE COME ALL!!! Time to load up and head out this weekend boys. This week we get some good old fashion pirate antics going down. While I fully understand due to the time constraints not all pirates will be able to make it, but for those who can it will be one for the books. Sunday morning Belle Isle Michigan. We have given some warning to this up and coming raid, but I don't think they truely know what they are in for. We will be meeting up at the Belle Isle Disc Golf Course at our normal 9:30 ish time with as many portable baskets as we can muster up. They are currently playing object golf so we are gonna set up a course for them this weekend. So if you have, and are in make sure you bring it along with you. We will as always respect the game style of the land we raid. That will make it difficult for some this weekend as we will not be teeing off till noon or a tad after. I'm sure we will still bring laugh, and joy, and some fun for all, but we will not be mobbing this week for sure. Can't wait to see all you dirty scallywags out and about in the frosty shores of The D. Till we meet again my good men (and lassies) CHAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!
