Anyone going to pingree tonight from the Livonia area that wants to carpool?

I work in Brighton, so I will just be jumping on I96 and heading west to Howell. If anyone wants to catch a ride or have me guide them in, please hit me up. Most of you will probably avoid coming this far north, but if any of our pirate brothers east of here give me a ring. I have one spot in the ship open and I hope to set sail around 4:30-4:45

So far most votes are going to Pingree.... I will tally all votes and name the course on Wednesday.

I vote Pingree too. I have a couple discs to get back. Then I want everyone to keep in mind the drive time involved.

My vote for Brighton was just me being a smartass. Change that vote to pingree. I have heard good word that it is a fun course.

the extra people that come during large ace pools make them even bigger and they have to go along shenanigans.

All I suggest is that you do choose words wise before you share them. There are a few of our "regulars" who once came out only cause they heard about a good size ace pool, and ended up becoming part of the pirate ship because they love the fun we have. Though after all this talk I expect those who don't want to go else where to step up and claim their pirate booty. I've emptied the chest twice myself

I don't think anyone is talking about setting limitations by any means, but I can sympathize with many when it comes to the ace pool. Certain players ONLY tolerate us pirates when it meets their fancy (i.e a wicked High Ace Pool). I can understand why many would feel slatted when week in week out players show up, pay their dollar, and grow that ace pool every week. The issue I think is when the occasional big arm rolls up, tolerates us, pays their dollar, hits the easy ace and drains our ... more

If you want to put up with us Pirates for 3-4 hours, getting the full treatment then more power too you and I wish you the best of luck on those rough seas. What I am not a fan of is making it easy. Playing courses like Bando, Brighton High School, Brown Park and such just to make the ace that much easier.....boooooooooooo!!!!!! If your intent is to just walk in and snag that Ace pool, I'm not going to make it easy. I will vote for hard courses and I will set traps along the way to protect our pirate treasure :)
And no Ben, Ace Pool rules are the same...$1 and a 50% pay-out

Thanks for the update and invite Joe.
If 24 Chains was to set up limitations with their ace pool and make it so only a select few were privy to enjoying it's glory we would be taking the steps into becoming a very unwelcoming environment that would promote excluding peoples for what ever reason, Being that we are a fun loving group that caters to beginners IMO we would be becoming what we tried not to be.. Just like the rest.
How would you feel if you join a league round with a "All are welcome" only to find out that you are not allowed to participate in a Optional Side Game?.

Pingree. I can open the course this Friday. Course has seen vast changes since last August-ish when the Pirates of 24CHA!NS last visit. Bring a swim suit if you wanna take a swim or search for discs. Or like Danger Dave, jump in with jeans. Baskets on all holes currently.
