This is the final Wednesday Night Doubles event of the summer. Please remember that money must be in by 6:15 and we'll start shortly afterwards. Also, remember, if you don't draw a card you won't play. Let's finish the year off with a bang! See you all there!
Remember, this Wednesday is the last Bring Your Own Partner dubs event of the summer. The only rule is that you can't partner with the same person as the last BYOP event. You can partner up with last weeks partner but you will not receive double points if you beat last weeks score. Nice try. That's it! Fire away.
Respond to this thread with your partners name by Wednesday at NOON! Anyone who responds after 12:00 pm AKST can still play but you will draw a card after the RSVP& ...

Hi.
- The Ace Fund is off to a good start at $40.
- The CTP on #3 was hit by the Grouse himself. He was a cool 108" from the basket.
- This weeks CTP will be on #4 and you'll need to be within 7' to collect. Please remember to put your distance (in inches) next to your name on the scorecard. The group beginning on #3 is responsible for taking it out. The group beginning on #5 is responsible for returning it to headquarters.
- As of the time of this post, Kincaid ...

It's been a while since we've had nice weather out there, huh? What you should know:
- The Ace Fund is over for the month. $139 belongs to Mike Miles for hitting number 14. That was the 7th ace hit at Dubs this year.
- The CTP was hit by Russell Janeway on #2 at 69.5". The CTP prize was a koozie with two Outback Steakhouse vouchers for a blooming onion and a sweet pair of DD stunna shades donated by the MSDGA.
- Next weeks CTP will be on #3. You must be within 15' o ...

What you should know:
- The Ace Fund is back to $0 as we're entering a brand new month. Chad Rutledge aced #3 week 10 for $126.
- Wednesday Night Dubs will be held up at Hilltop to keep the focus there. Same pay by 6:30. Same $7/10.
- Josh Stewart won the CTP on #5 by landing 14' 7" from the basket. I asked for 15'. Underachiever… :-) This weeks CTP's will be on #9 (10') and #18 (20').

Well, the weather was on point! I thought we'd have 40 in house. Thirty-five is pretty close though.
- The Ace Fund is up to $96 and belongs to only Chad Rutledge. Next week will be your last chance to get your share of it.
- The CTP was not hit so it will rollover to next week. We'll add some goodies to it also. It will be on #5 and will need to be within 15' to collect. The group that starts on #5 is responsible for taking it out. The group on #7 is responsible ...

I third the no booze call out pre round. More to come regarding this serious issue.
Friendly correction...DDAR will be held on Tues June 30th as the Tues. night dubs. Thank you for posting that Louie.
Well when roughly half of them are border line to full blown alcoholics, 30-45 mins with a drink isn't possible. I vote if people dont listen they dont play but maybe thats just me
To those of you who didn't show up because of the "weather", you missed out. Just sayin'! The weather definitely looked sketchy upon arriving but mellowed out once the player's meeting ended.
- The Ace Fund is up to $61 and belongs to Chad Rutledge.
- The CTP will be on #4 tonight. The group that starts on #3 is responsible for taking it out. The group that starts on #5 is responsible for bringing it back in. The CTP is worth one prepaid league, possibly more. ...

Between rain and wind, I'll take the wind any day of the week! And boy did we have some WIND!!!
- First off, I gotta say thanks to Raymond and Gabe for becoming members of the ADGA. Welcome fellas! This brings our total membership to just shy of 50 of us!
- The ace fund is $31 going into next week! However, unless your name is Chad Rutledge, it's nachos!
- Chad Rutledge hit an ace on basket number 3. (Side story: I've witnessed probably close to 100 aces. Twenty- ...

Also, two stools were left behind after Wednesday's player's meeting. Chad had one. I'm not sure what happened to it. Either he still has it or found the owner. The other is a small, green camp stool.
Well, it wasn't pretty but it worked out in the end. Thanks to the 44 of you who came out to the first of 2 or 3 BYOP dubs. Apparently I goofed up when I tried to announce that we set a new WND record last night. Regardless, our record was 41 and is now 44! Thank you! Also, thanks to Som and Joe for the extra set of eyes in helping identify the problem which we figured out.
- The CTP was hit by Brad Beiser on #1. He landed inside the basket, well within the 10 feet I asked for. ...

Thanks Jake! I knew they didn't make it back to headquarters. But when do they?
This next Wednesday will be the first of 2 or 3 BYOP events. Please respond to this thread with your partners name. Please note that cards are NOT assigned according to when you sign up. Also, unlike in the past, I WILL allow 6-somes at this event. This is simply to keep from dealing with those of you who don't attend leagues regularly, have access to the internet, a smart phone or friends. Next, should anyone attend next week who "didn't know" this is a BYOP event I wil ... more
Hi Ben, just be on property by 6:15 and I'll give you two all the info you need. However, since this would be your first Wednesday Night League with us you'll pay the member rate of $7. Glad you two will be joining us!
- Will Harrison won the CTP on #8 by putting it 63" from the basket. He won a prepaid league, 10 bonus points (19 total for the day) and a bag of Chip Ahoy cookies, special edition. Thanks KG for that sponsorship! They were delicious! Next weeks CTP will be on #13 and will need to be within 13' of the basket to qualify.
- Speaking of Will, he was quick to throw his name into the hat of who wants a share of the ace fund. He aced #2 and it's worth $34 as of today. Expect th ...

Sure. Just be sure it's on a fair hole. We can go back to #13 the following week. Thanks for sponsoring.
Well, that was fun... SMH. We're entering week 6 and as a group I feel like we have yet to have a perfect league. Something keeps happening...
- Brian Cassidy won the CPT on #5 for a prepaid league. This weeks CTP will take place on #8 and you'll need to be within 10 feet of the basket.
- The Ace Fund has been reset to $0.00 with Kevin Gearhart claiming $46 of it and I get the rest. Kevin used his to become a member of the ADGA. As far as my portion goes, I'd like to bu ...

That's possible. If so, he didn't use it. The card that was turned in was not an ADGA signature series scorecard.
Wow! What an exciting night it was!
- First things first, if you were there last night you were part of the largest league in ADGA history!!! Forty-one of us came out to enjoy the beautiful weather. Yeah, 41!!! That ups our record set at last years opener by 5... technically 6 since Tay Harling bought in twice.
- Adam Klein won the CTP on #4 by putting his disc 21" from the basket. The bounty for that was $20 sponsored by Andrew Engelking. Thanks for doing that Andrew! Adam, you di ...

Well, Mother Nature was definitely on our side last night! Twenty-eight of us showed up for a good time.
- First and foremost, I must apologize for messing up the cards last night. I had 24 in the deck and of course there should have been 28. Again, my mistake and it won't happen again.
- Chad Rutledge won the CTP on #3 and earned the 2 prepaid leagues.
- Next week's CTP will be on #4 and will be worth 1 prepaid league. You will need to be within 10 feet of the basket. ...

Week 3 is here! There is $64 in the Ace Fund which has been claimed but can still be shared. Also, late fees begin tonight! Please have your money in NO LATER than 6:30 to avoid paying the late fee. Today's CTP will be on #3 and is worth 2 prepaid leagues. However, you must be within 13 feet of the basket to qualify. The weather is looking kinda iffy right now but should be ready for our arrival. Should it be raining, please meet in the chalet or in front of the doors closest to the porta potty. See you all there!
Use your prepaid leagues folks! Three of you have already done so. Thanks!
It was another great time out there! The weather was lame all day until just before Dubs began. Isn't that how it usually is? Mother Nature likes us.
- We had 31 in attendance last week. Thirty-two this week.
- It sounds like my ace fund could have been shared a few times over. Jeremy Boyd was my partner and hit the top of #4 (then skipped 70'-80'). He hit the cage on #14 too.
- In the first two weeks we've had 42 different people attend WND's. Our reco ...

Thanks to the 31 of you that came out to the Wednesday Night Dubs season opener. If you're wondering, since 2010, 2015 is tied for the second highest season opener attendance. Our record opener was 36 set last year. Let's keep our average attendance above 30 for the season!
We had two new guys there also. We don't have flyers up yet so I need to thank those of you who led those two to us.

Just a friendly reminder that tonight is the Random Draw Dubs opener at Kincaid Park. Please have your money in by 6:15 pm as I will be going over all the rules and bounties for this year. I hope to send you guys out by 6:30 but the way announcements have gone in the past I'll just send you guys out once we've gone over what we need to. Next Wednesday I will once again go over everything I have. At that point, hopefully everyone will be on board and all future announcements will last no longer than 5-10 minutes.
See you all there!

Alrighty then! I'm pretty sure this is the first time everyone invited has accepted the invitation to play. I'm looking forward to it as there are some big names on the list. However, since we'll be short on time with the 6:00 pm meet time and some of you like to hang out in the parking lot and slow everyone else down I'm going to have the cards done up already so we can help our cause of not finishing in the dark. Plus, I'm almost 100% sure that this Wednesday will end up in a tie for first with all that talent. You guys know how ties are handled for first place. How will I divy up teams? I'll do this by putting everyone's name in alphabetical order (by first name). Then I will shuffle the 16 cards flipping them one by one and adding that playing card to the players name. I will go in alphabetical order with the exception of the Ace of Hearts... that's mine. Remember, if you're late, your partner will start without you throwing solo. Don't be that guy. See you all there!
When will you pick the teams? Will they be posted in advance?
Yes, I will handle this Tuesday night or Wednesday morning. This way if any of you happen to be running late you'll at least know what hole you begin on.
It's gonna get dark!
And it's gonna be wet!

So whats the deal!?
Sorry this took me longer to add than it should have. My helper isn't here today so it's all me.
Hole 1: Dizzle and Miles / Haskin and Rodgers.
Hole 5: Merideth and Voight / Cassidy and Bouasri.
Hole 9: Revis and Janeway / Schacht and Boyd.
Hole 13: Monyer and Williams / Thies and Hepola.
Please notice the spacing we'll be using tonight. This is to help speed the night along. I expect you to start on your hole assignment. Cards will be sent out at 6:00 pm. See you all there!
1st gets - $100, 2nd gets - $80, 3rd gets - $60, 4th gets - $40, 5th gets - $20. 6th-8th get a future prepaid league. Come and get some of those league fees back!
