Finally, a huge shout out to Daisuke and everyone else who was a part of the basket improvement project at Tuttle! The job is not yet complete, so keep watching for future work days!
I did not see the Score Cards before I left on Tuesday night, but a huge congratulations to Rob Santiago and A.J. Cruz for breaking the course doubles record with a scorching 16 down (17 down according to discgolfscene)!
Also, congratulations to Season Points Champions, JP (1st place), Rob Santiago (2nd place), and A.J. Cruze (3rd place), all members of the exclusive 300 club!
I personally want to thank everyone who participated or helped in any way with Doubles League during the 2015 Season! Particularly, thanks to JP McVey for serving as Co-Administrator, and Mark Kewley for serving as backup! This is not official, but I think Mark attended more league nights than anyone this year, including myself! If we had an Iron Man Award, Mark would win it!
Hope you all can join us for our final league night of the 2015 Doubles season! Start time is 5:05.
Tuesday is always at Tuttle. Only a couple more this year. Thursday rotates around town: http://www.discgolfscene.com/leagues/2015_DFOK_Points_League_Finale/schedule
Rain should be done by about 2pm, so should be good weather for discgolf tonight. Don't forget 5:25 start time!
5:25 start time tomorrow, September 29
5:35 start time tonight... 5 minutes earlier each week...
Just to be clear, doubles league is definitely at Tuttle today!
Doubles League will be at Fairmont again this week, June 30th.
5:45 Start Time
Congratulations to Mark Kewley, as he aced #2 at Fairmont! It was a beautiful straight shot, directly into the chains. Mark took home $178.00! Leaving the Ace Fund at $40 for next week.
Because of the Country Music Stampede, Doubles League will be moved to Fairmont starting this week, and at least for the remainder of June. Check back on this page for any news about Doubles League.
Great day for disc golf. DFOK Doubles starts at 5:45pm tonight. See you there!
The West entrance to tuttle creek riverpond is closed. You will need to come in through the East entrance on the other side of the dam.
Hey everyone, the drizzle should be stopping soon. It is supposed to warm up and be partly sunny during league tonight. We start at 5:40 tonight. Hope to see you there!
Congrats, everyone, on a great first night of league! We had some hot scores tonight! Ten down did not even cash!
Next week we start at 5:40pm. Pass the word.
If you are interested in helping run DFOK Doubles for the 2015 season, please let me know. 35 weeks is a long haul for one person...
At the most recent DFOK meeting, it was suggested that we do some kind of online poll to gather suggestions for what to do with the remainder of last year's doubles league Ace Fund ($80), and also any amount that may remain after the 2015 season.
At the end of last season, we have a brief conversation about rolling over last year's remainder into this year's pot, so that we could start out with a nice balance, however, no one expressed any strong opinions about it. Another pos ...

Maybe a CTP to the people that have the highest attendance to reward those who have contributed the most to the ace fund?
I like #2 (which has been done before). If no player hits an ace, then the course has beat the players... thus "won" or "earned" the money. A specific improvement would need to be determined of course.
I have posted the payout chart for 2015 DFOK Doubles on the Picture tab for this league.
"Cali" Rules
If you are the "Cali" player during doubles league (i.e. you are playing without partner), this is how it's done:
1. You get to re-throw one shot per hole, from the same lie, without penalty (drive, approach, or putt).
2. After you make your repeat throw, you may decide to keep your original shot, or your re-throw. You are NOT forced to keep the re-throw.
3. If you ACE on a re-thrown drive, the ace counts, both for your score and for winning the ...
