2013-2014 DFOK WINTER Points League

"Nice day for winter league at Fairmont, although the snow was only half-melted and the course was fairly muddy and slushy. I hadn't played in over three weeks so it was good to get out. I think the break did me some good. I started on #18 with a birdie and continued to play well, with the exceptions of a typical disaster on #1 and a couple of bogeys due in large part to bad footing on holes without tee pads. I can't complain too much, though, as many of my best drives came without the benefit of concrete. It was just a solid round, not too many mistakes. The only putts I'd like to try again were a couple of 25-footers for birdie (#6 & #9). I made more than I missed from that range and didn't miss anything closer."
