Randy Shank, owner of Sunnybrook, is on the verge of installing a course permanently! Once the course is designed, we will be hosting the 1st ever league as soon as it opens starting in September. In addition, Sunnybrook will offer $5 rounds to the public when open play is available. The course will be a shortened and follow the ball golf course so we will be able to fit in and not interrupt their main business. Have no fear, even though it will be shortened, it will still be pretty cool.
Here are the details of our league so far:
The league will play glow doubles from September to about December.
$25 membership plus $10 weekly fees.
Format: Best SCORE doubles. Random draw for partners. Both players complete each hole on their own. The lowest score of the two is used for your team score. This way we can play doubles and singles at the same time. AM's pay $10 / Pros pay $15.
$25 membership gets you use of their clubhouse, that will come in handy when the weather gets chilly, the bar, the restaurant, bathrooms, a catered banquet/awards ceremony for us at the end of the season.
1 division. If you want to play "Pro", you just pay $5 more.
Payout: AM's: Merchandise / Pro's: Cash
Weekly $15 breakdown: $5 Greens fee, $5 to payouts.
An optional $5 to puts your singles score up against the pros singles scores.
So everyone is in with $10. If you want to play "Pro" you pay $5 more.
