"Started out on #1 with a good kick off a tree that led to a birdie. After that, my play was steady and I made all pars and birdies. Missed a good chance on #4, and chained out on short #9, so I could have done even better."

"Started with a bogey on #1, but made nothing but pars and a couple of birdies after that. I wasn't throwing that well off the tee, but I had some really good upshots and putted pretty well. On #7 I would have won CPT if I had made it to Warner in time to pay in."

"I'm a little fuzzy on the hole scores, but I think this may be how it went down. I remember starting on #7, and being close to even after nine, then ending badly."

"I was running late but my group allowed me to join them on #3, which worked out well because they were skipping #1 & #2 the second time (I just played them then, and we all skipped #5 & #6 on the second round). So I started with a rare birdie on #3 and was playing pretty well until a nasty roll-out off the basket cost me a bogey on #7. Then I threw my drive on #8 into the trees and made another bogey, before sinking a long birdie putt on short #9. The roller-coaster ride continued with bogey-birdie on the first two holes. Then a tee shot deep into the trees on #4 lost me two strokes to par. I inexplicably missed an EASY 15' putt for birdie on #7, and chained out from behind a tree on #8, before a well-deserved bogey on #9 to finish an erratic, mediocre round."

"Very steady, unexciting league round on a pleasant fall evening. We started on #1 and skipped #7 both nines. I threw all right, but not great -- not a lot of good birdie chances. My putting was streaky: I made some nice ones (#2, #5) and missed some easy ones (#3, #9, #8)."

"It stopped raining just before league, but the course was still soggy. To beat the encroaching darkness, we skipped #s 5 & 6 on the first nine, and #s 1 & 2 on the last. My group started on #1, where I just missed a short putt for birdie, from about 25' up the hill. I made a good putt on #7 (over 30'), missed a short one on #8, and hit another long one on #9. Made my third putt over 30' on #5 to save par. I finished up with an easy birdie on #8 and then parked my approach for a drop-in par on long #9."

"Pretty good league round, but disappointing, because it should have been better. I started on #8 and was four down after nine holes. After that, I took an ugly double bogey on #2 and could make no better than a par for the rest of the back nine."

"We started on #1, and I bogeyed the first two, but things went much better after that. I was a little wild on the first nine and not putting especially well, although I made good ones on #3 and #7. On #9 I ended up closer to the long basket than the short, and couldn't get down in two. On the second nine, I managed a par on #1 before bogeying #2 again. After that I got pretty dialed in and eventually made three birdies in a row, including a nearly vertical putt on #8 from my knees near the trunk of the big pine on the right, then finished with a 30-footer to save par on #9. It's always fun to shoot under par on a league night."

"Started on #8, which I was lucky to par on after a terrible drive. Overall, not a bad score, but a very frustrating round. I didn't have many good shots or bad shots -- just a lot of decent-to-mediocre ones and missed opportunities. I made two or three really good putts (e.g. a birdie on #4 from the mouth of the slot and 40'+ jumper to save par on #5), but I narrowly missed a handful from 20-30'."
