2011 Wednesday Night Doubles

"I was draining the putts... except for the easy birds on 9, 17, & 18. Would have been nice. I did finally get a 3 on 2!"

"Will and I made a great team! First bogey free round @ Kincaid! Will crushed his drive on 18 but we couldn't sink the easy bird and we just missed hitting the birdie fund on 13. Will be bigger next time. I think I've perfected my hyzer filp shot on 17. It's one crazy lookin shot."

"Played with Brady... I parked it on 1, 2, 17 and 18. Brady went bushes and short right on his drive on 18. I walked up and said "go big or go home..." then just crushed my Wraith straight up there. We couldn't make the short put on the Goliath basket, so we took a 3. That stung a little. Oh well."

"Played with Luke... I started off strong but couldn't keep it going. We missed 2 or 3 easy putts. Lost my last Cro on 10 AND my only TL on 3 deep right near the other side of the trail next 4's AM Tee."

"Played with Danny T... I drove past the basket on 500' hole 7 and 80' past on 521' hole 13 (passed 6 feet over the basket on 13). Parked 8,9, and 11 (11 was an ace run). Also had my best monster drives on 2 and 10 but we couldn't hit a decent approach on either of them."

"Played with Jeff... nice shooting! I parked it from the pro tees on holes 1, 3, & 5. Also parked it on 2 with a spike hyzer and on 16 with a spike anhyzer. I thought 49 was good for a win on pro/am but Andy and Will posted a 46! Thats nutty."

"I had an ace run on the nearly 500' hole 16 to finish. Skipped right near the basket but then tumbled down the hill 20 feet or so. Played with Cas who nailed a monster s-bomb with his Valkyrie on 4. Should have gotten even more out of it but in never faded back left completely.

"I can putt! Was a great round minus 10 and 12... we just missed the easy bird on 2 and were close on 8, 9, 16, and 18. Nice shootin Louie!"

"First time playing Cali... good learning experience. Couldn't do much with it this time around. If I get it again I should be able to drop a few strokes. It only makes sence that you would have to go with the muli if thrown. I didn't pick up on it, or even try to use my first throw until hole 10... Sean said "You do know you have to play that one now (treed 4 feet from the tee) right?" The only highlight: my drive on 12 was even with the A basket location, my new personal best."

"I wasn't much help... sorry James. Although we did go with 8 of my drives it felt like much less. And most of those were not much of an advantage over the other lie. We left 3 short birds out there on 1, 2, and 5. James had the best turnover drive on 12 I've ever seen! Nice work."

"Gotta give props to Joe! We made a good team for the Wind-Day Dubs. A couple upsetting 4's on 1 and 17 but otherwise we were spot on. I had my personal best drives on holes 9, 12, and 18. I was able to sink my short birdie putt on 9 and then drained the EAGLE on 18. Was just a 15 footer thanks to my park job... I power gripped and hyzerd a brand new Champ Wraith straight uphill and at the basket. It instantly flatend out and never turned or faded. We ended up tied for the top spot, but thanks to a strategic skip shot into the wind with my Rhyno, we took the CTP for the tie breaker."
