LAST LEAGUE NIGHT

Tonight (october 20th) will be the last official night of leagues. We will be teeing off by 5pm so be there on time. If no ace is hit tonight the ace pool will go to ctp on hole 11 due to lack of light; this is only for those who get in on the ace pool. The ace pool is currently at $83 so be sure to get in on it. Hope to see you there.

The Sun is Setting Sooner...

This week (Sep 29th) cut off for league registration will be at 5:15 and starting the next week 5:00. Tell your friends!

GRod Doubles Fall Start Time Change to 5:30

League will start at 5:30 this week. The sun sets at 7:59 on Thursday. Please remind anybody who might be playing this week to be there and signed in before 5:30. This will be the start time for the next few weeks.

Goldenrod Doubles Tonight 5/19?

"And I wonder and I wonder, who'll stop the rain?" John Fogerty's words couldn't be more true. As we all know Goldenrod is located right on the mighty Flint river and is basically a flood plain. One good rain, let alone a weeks worth of rain can flood a good portion of the course. With as much rain as we have gotten in the last week Goldenrod is definitely under water. As we all know Goldenrod is located right on the mighty Flint river and is basically a flood plain. One good rain, let alone a weeks worth of rain can flood a good portion of the course. With as much rain as we have gotten in the last week Goldenrod is definitely under water.

I'm not going to go as far as canceling league just yet but that may be the case. There is a possibility that we can still play an abbreviated or revamped round if everybody is cool with that. I haven't been there since last Thursday and would need to see a couple of key areas that would make it at least able to walk around the water but most likely they are too flooded. We could possibly incorporate the practice basket, 19 and that area and play the front and back loops (1,2,8,9 & 10,11,18) as well as squeeze in 5,6,7. Although w/ this much rain 10 is going to be flooded as well. If anyone has any ideas feel free to post them in the talk section.

So as of now league has NOT been canceled but keep in mind that it could be as late as 5:30. If anything, come on out anyways and you'll still be able to play some holes and get some practice in.

In case anyone did not pick up a rules/start times packet at Grod or Holly in the last few weeks, league start times will be at 6:00p.m. for the summer until the first week in September. *Remember you must be signed in and have drawn by 5:55.
