"It was a beautiful night for the last league round of the season. Good crowd, too. My group started on #3. I played all right, not great. Made lots of pars. Had trouble hitting the gaps on #1 and #2. It's been a fun year and I'm glad I joined the league."

"Big crowd at league tonight, and I had kind of a crazy round. Didn't think I'd even play this week, but I got done early at work and decided to rush to Warner at the last minute. Started on #3 and played all right until #9, where I hit a 3-hole bogey skid. But then on #7 (second time around), I went on a streak of 4 unlikely putts in a row from under or behind trees. Then I totally blew a short putt for bogey on #2, my last hole. In other news, I caught chains off the tee on #4; I have also hit the top of the basket and the pole on that one in the past 2 weeks -- but no ace. Just a matter of time, or not in the cards? I probably won't get to play it again before the basket switch...."

"Wet, sloppy, windy night. Started on #7, and it took me a long time to get focused. Made a lot of bad shots (see #2), missed 3-4 putts inside of 15 feet, but I also made some tough pars and a couple of easy birdies (like on #4, where I skipped it into the pipe off the tee). And I didn't fall in the mud (almost, but not quite...)."

"Very warm evening, with a steady wind from the west. We skipped #7 out of concern for a shortage of daylight. Another wild and wacky round, starting on #5. I missed 3-4 ridiculously short putts. On #4 I skipped my first tee shot off the top of the basket -- but then 3-putt for a bogey. Made a deuce on it the second time around, though. Could have shot anywhere from about +2 to +10, the way I was playing. Won a playoff to avoid keeping my lousy tag (went from 61 to 44)."

"This was windiest league round I can remember. I started on #6 with a five and had 3 more of those -- along with 3 bogeys. After 2 holes I switched to using heavy mid-range discs for all my putts, which seemed to help. I didn't play too badly, considering the gusty, swirling wind."

"Beautiful day, except for the mud. Got off to a slow start on #7, and made a lot of bogeys on my first nine. Finally hit a birdie on my second try at #1, then slipped and fell on my ass, literally, heading down to take my disc out of the basket. But I followed it with another birdie on #2, which kept me under 60 for the round."

"Started on #6 and played pretty well all day. Missed a couple of short par putts, or I would have been under par (should have been...). Bogeyed #1 twice, but birdied #2 both times to cancel it out. Weather was great again."

"This was the first time I'd played in a long time, and it didn't go very well. I started on #7, which got me for 2 bogeys. #2 and #5 killed me, too. I realized later that I had reported my score wrong: I actually shot 62 -- no one to blame but myself (since I kept score)."

"Very nice day for the first Warner Sunday of the fall. I started with a double-bogey on short #5, but after that, it was kind of a boring round. I putted better, but didn't have many good approach shots. #5 killed me (couldn't get out of the tube in one throw), and I struggled on #1 as well, but #8 was my friend."

"Started on #3 (long here, though we played #9 short the first time). We skipped #5 & #6 again tonight. Wind was really unpredictable, especially for the first few holes. Lost my balance on #9 and threw it deep into the woods for a nice triple-bogey. Other than that and #2, I didn't play that badly, had quite a few birdie chances, but missed a ton of short putts."

"This time we skipped #5 & #6 to finish before dark. I started on #8 (short), which got me for two bogeys. I wasn't throwing very well, but made some good recovery shots and putts. Scores were really low this week, in part because of the perfect weather and skipping two tough holes to birdie, but I never anticipated shooting +2 and dropping from tag 13 to 39 -- brutal."

"Because of the daylight situation, we didn't play #7 or the short #9, and so we all took pars for those. I started on long #1 and struggled for the first half of the round, then leveled off and finished all right."

"It was a cool, windy evening @ Warner. I started on short #9. and didn't play great, but steady. I made some nice/lucky recovery shots and putted pretty well. #6 was tough into a stiff headwind, and it got me for two bogeys."

"Started on #1, and didn't play #7 because of the daylight shortage. Kind of a boring, mediocre round -- not too many good shots, not many really bad shots. I did miss 3-4 putts I should have made. Overall, pretty unsatisfying."

"Started on short #6, and played a little better this week -- mainly by avoiding disasters. Still plenty of room for improvement. #5 and #8 were my downfall. Missed very easy birdie putts on short #9 and #3."

"Started on short #5 and didn't play very well. #2 and #5, playing to the back basket locations, got me for 3 double-bogeys. On long #9 I parked it right under the short basket, which prevented from getting more than halfway there on my approach. Had a couple really good recovery shots after bad drives, but nothing much else to be excited about."

"Started with a terrible drive and a bogey on #7, but then made a couple of birdies. #1 killed me, as usual, and #5 got me for 2 bogeys as well. I liked both my new discs. Got myself 2 good birdie putts on #3 and another on #6 with the lighter Nuke (but missed them all). Only threw the Crush once, but that was good for an easy deuce on short #9."

"Started with a 5 on #5 (short pins). #1 & #2 killed me (as usual). If I could play those holes, I might shoot a decent score."
