Unfortunately I can't. My original plan was to meet and play with you at Warner. But I got talked into doing some errands with the wife around 1 this afternoon, haha.

Rob-
If there is any chance you could hold out till 1230 (I work till noon) then I could meet you to playa round at tuttle instead of warner.

I know it's a little short notice, and Adam's playing Warner at 130, but I'll be at Tuttle at 0930 if anyone wants to join up for a round. Gotta love a 4 day weekend!

I seem to have somehow lost one of my new custom minis... this one was green with silver swirls and is made of a hard plastic/ resin material. If anyone finds it, please let me know. Last I remember seeing it was out at Riley.

I would really like to try and go Monday, but I'd say it is unlikely.
As for the blizzards... The only appeal to me would be that they apparently float under 150g, but I'm not sure if it would be any better to watch your disc float away than it would to just let it sink and get over it. Some of them have really exceptional grip compared to regular champ plastic, but Rob is absolutely correct: they will not fight a headwind quite as well as a heavier star or champ would. Adam, I would love to play Friday afternoon. However that darn work thing will prevent me from doing so. Sorry.

Okay, provided it isn't a rainy & 40 degrees (or lower), I too plan on going Monday.

I'm glad these discs don't allow you to throw any farther. I hope they have the same result for Daisuke, Zane, Clouse, and anybody else that is out-throwing me :)

For anyone curious about the new Innova Blizzard technology, I had a chance to toss some today thanks to Josh Prasek. While I only tossed them 3 times, I noticed some things that were worth mentioning. I'll note I was throwing into a left to right crosswind, with maybe a slight tailwind. I had the opportunity to throw a 153g Destroyer, a 150g Boss, and a 142 Wraith. The discs behaved a lot like the description on the Innova site explains, which is they act like their respective discs at abo ... more

Anyone interested in an afternoon round at Warner or Tuttle on Friday at 130 ish?

I do have a 153 blizzard destroyer and 150 blizzard boss. My wife has a 142 blizzard wraith. The only day I threw these was forehand and on snowy concrete. With my lack of skills I was able to consistently get 350' from these.

Just my little input. As of now I like the boss, but that's coming from someone with two months of discing.

I have one idea... (if the weather is decent)

Since I will have all day (& hopefully some of you do also), is there any interest in shoping at DU first thing then driving to Newton's Camp Hawk and maybe even Hutchinson's Carry Park after that? Or play Herington's course then Newton's Camp Hawk... reason being I'm dying to play a course I haven't played in a long time.

Of course we could split up after part of the trip if one car isn't interested in the second part of the trip.

Take a look at them on the web & tell me what you think.

Yep, the blizzard is part of the motivation for me too. Sounds like there will probably be more than a car load of people. We should figure out a good time to meet at the park in Herington. 9:00? 10:00?

I'm up for it Mark, I'm curious about these Blizzard Champion Bosses/Destroyers Dennis just got in stock.

That works. I'm always open to whatever. Just within 15 miles there's the three 9 hole courses. Padilla, Rock Springs, and South Park. I'm up for any variation but as the week progresses, Tom and I will have a little better word on what the plans our with our other halves.

Cool, I was thinking about playing Father Padilla around 10:00, DU, Lunch, and round 2. Open to suggestions.

Hey Mark. I just made a run to Discs Unlimited yesterday but would join you and definitely interested in trying out a different park. Tom Lowman might go also. We both have to check on what's going on.
