2011-2012 Flint Hills Bag Tag League
Bag Tag league
I know that most of you work during the day but is anyone interested in a round tomorrow (thursday) arond 10:30 am or so?
It's only supposed to be in the mid-90s today for Warner Wednesday, so everyone make sure to dress for the chill....
Are you getting curious about when oh when the push for the "next nine" at Warner Park will start?
Go here to find out. --> http://www.discgolfscene.com/clubs/Disc_Fanatics_of_Kansas/news
Kevin, I'm interested in having lighter driver discs (around 165g, not too overstable) if you have. I will attend Wednesday night, you can try it. See you then.
Thanks Mark... If Riley doesn't work out, I'll likely play somewhere else today and at least get in some putting practice.
If we go to Ft. Riley I'll bring an Aviar for you to try.
Daisuke, let me know what she wants for it or what kind of discs she looks and I'll see what I have.
... Also, if anyone is interested I talked to Mark and Clouse about playing Riley today. I was thinking around 4pm.
Anyone have a few (or any) aviars they are willing trade?
I will head toward River Pond just after 5:00
Daisuke and I will probably go to Tuttle on Saturday morning when it is not too hot... probably ~9 am ish.
I have a few things to do tonight, sorry.
I'll have to try and be on the way home by around 7 (I have a friend coming into town) so I'd have to start by 530 at the absolute latest... I'm thinking Tuttle would be great for such a short time frame if anyone thinks they can be there before then. I'll shoot for just after 5 and just meet whoever out there.
I might be able to play today, but probably no sooner than 6pm. I've never tried Riley, and I want to at some point, but I always like playing Tuttle.
Sorry guys, I'm out for the time being. I'm still knee deep into fence building.
Hope/plan to be done by early Aug. so I can get back to the ever important game of disc golf.
After 5:00
Anyone want to put their tags on the line today? (Friday).... maybe Riley? or Tuttle?
Some of us have been talking about playing in the Sunflower State Games. I thought people might be interested in checking out the link: http://www.sunflowergames.com/disc-golf
The event is at Crestview in Topeka, on July 9th (doubles) and 10th (singles). It's $25 for one event and $35 to play in both. If you register after July 1 (this Friday), it's an extra $5.
Glad to hear you're still around. Hope your daughter has fun, and you too of course. See you in July.
I'm coaching my daughter's softball team and we play Wednesday nights through the month of June. I'm looking forward to getting back out there!
