2011-2012 Flint Hills Bag Tag League
Bag Tag league
I'm glad I could bring this hazzard to your attention. I know, there are not that many drives that go so far off the fairway:)
Hey, congrats, Mark! Gotta love a successful search and rescue mission. I witnessed that shot and had never even realized there was a mud bog there.
I recovered my Boss from the mud bog near 16 at Tuttle! I will be needing it tomorrow at Warner.
Thanks to Daisuke & Keiko for taking time to help when they could have been playing golf :)
The ***GLOW ROUND*** tonight was great! If you missed it you are a sucka.
Attention everyone!!! My disc losing binge has my backups starting to wear thin on my firebirds (yup, lost ANOTHER one)... Dig through your stash, tell your friends to do the same. I will pay cash money or break out the good stuff for trades on some nice FLAT firebirds!!!... The condition isn't super important, as long as they feel right in my hand.
Zane, I will sell it to you for 20 bucks
My apologies for not being out to put that super awesome tag #7 on the line. It does look very nice on my bag I must say. I have been unable to throw since early October due to my back being all jacked up. I had an MRI last week and probably will have surgery in the next coming weeks. I want to throw my tag back into the mix for your pursuit.
I will be back D FOKers! mark my words....
I will try to get out to Fairmont tomorrow for the Glow round to turn in my tag and perhaps spectate a little.
Alright, here it is: $20 on the line for a shot at ANY tag in the top 10. Any takers?
What's up with the orange flags that seem to be alt tee pads at fairmont?
I tried out my new flat LED light: http://discsunlimited.net/descriptions/Misc_Descriptions-Accessories-etc/disc_golf_flat_led_light.html It is super bright.
Looking forward to next Tuesday's glow round at Fairmont!
The earliest Tuttle work day I will be a part of will be Saturday, November 19th.
Here's why:
1. I still haven't heard from Rev Kev regarding what he thinks the unclaimed Ace Fund $ should be spent.
2. I still haven't talked to the River Pond director/staff regarding hauling in a generator & power tools to work on the baskets.
With that said though, I am only talking about basket REPAIRS, not course redesigns / pin changes.
I will likely be able to play either saturday or sunday in the morning (or both).
I am interested in playing a Glow Round at Fairmont for bag tags (no points of course). I would think we would want to start around 6pm and play 9 holes?
By the way, there are a lot options on how to get discs to light up for a glow round. I say we keep it pretty flexible so as to not limit the number of people who play.
I bought one of these at On the Wildside in Aggieville and it's looking like it's going to work great. http://flashflight.com/products/hole-in-one
Depending on what time I have to work next week, I might be down for it... I am working overnights on call Tuesdays now so I'm never really sure what time I need to go in until that day.
Thinking about playing a glow round. Anyone interested next Tuesday at Fairmont? I have enough glow sticks for the baskets.
Bag Tag League at 1:30. Make sure you are not still running on Daylight Saving Time.
Rick will not be there today so to help things run smoothly, check in when you get to the park.
Anybody going to BRO league today from Manhattan?
Shout out to our massive search & rescue participants...
Our high tech measuring device has been found!
I'm sure you will all sleep better knowing it is now safely secured.
EQUIPMENT ALERT!
If anyone happens to find themselves at Warner Park, could you please look to see if the black & yellow measuring string is at the practice basket (or somewhere else for that matter)? If it is, PLEASE TAKE IT WITH YOU.
If you happen to find it, we'll work out getting it back to the League Administrator.
Thanks!

Looks like Dennis got the word out to KDGA about the Ft. Riley tournament:
