This course is a good beginner course (which we all know means it's easy and not too challenging). It has a lot of elevation changes, and a decent amount of trees in challenging places. I have read numerous reviews that there used to be a lot more trees that were removed due to disease, which made the course a lot less fun for many, but I just recently started playing early this year so I didn't experience that. The tree's don't make the course too hard, but it's better than an open field, let's just say that. There are not too many longer holes where you can just let loose; really maybe two or three, stretching it. Most people probably can drive the whole course in one. There are a few water hazards, but nothing to terrible. You'll just have to go wading on a couple holes on the back 9. The water is smelly, so you may want some sanitizer, or to just stay out of it altogether. :-) There's also a water park that the course wraps around. It becomes a mind-f*** on primarily hole #17. I've lost one disc there when I first started, and now throw a thumber just to make sure I clear it. It really shouldn't be a problem for most, but to me it's my Everest. Hole #18 also is a pain in the butt, because to have any kind of distance on your drive you have to throw a wide-arching hyzer over the parking lot, which is elevated from the tee box, and have it land at the basket which is on a level ground from the throw pad, making it a more precise shot, and could get you in trouble if you misfire on someone's car. Too long and you go into the sewage drain to the left of the mark (the drain is always no higher than your shoes, and usually a puddles-worth, but remember the smell...). There is only one hole, however, hole #13, where you have a chance to lose your disc. If you have your disc roll or throw too long of a anhyzer shot towards the basket, it could keep going into the nearby creek. If it goes in there, you mostly likely will have to visit Fred's Food Mart right across the street from the hole to buy a new one. (Shout-out to Fredrick!!!) Other than that your bag should be the same after visiting this course. It isn't maintained very well. The signs are barely visible, and not too helpful as the landscape has changed in the recent years. Some of the baskets are in terrible shape, with the rest in need of some type of repair for the most part. The throw pads are okay, and the grass is usually cut. Trash cans if I remember correctly were not too abundant, but obviously not a pressing issue. No benches though, so make sure you bring out your good hip that day. There isn't a lot of traffic on this site, so you shouldn't be standing around too long, but you do get the occasional large group on the weekends, so just keep it in mind, or bring a chair.
So in summary, the course is easy-moderate, with some water issues on the back 9. If they were to improve the upkeep of the course, like getting some more trash cans out, getting newer baskets, signs, and so on it would be a nice little course with the elevation differences and decent hole placements. At that point it would move into the "B" range for me, but unfortunately right now it seems to be getting worse rather than better. It's not too tough to get from hole to hole, but you do backtrack on one or two of them, so it can be kind of confusing without the updated information. Be ready to use your mid-range's, and slower drivers, and a side-arm here and there, stay out of the stinky water, and visit Fred's for a good selection on discs and their weights. Oh, and don't hit a car or send your disc to the water park and you should have a decent time out.
