Dan Hyzer 30 - Short tees, 10 holes "played with Martin Dewgarita (from Alden, Mn.) and his traveling partner, "Forrest" (One of the coolest DG Dogs you'll ever meet). the hanging basket hole basket is almost flush to the ground, we made our putts a little interesting today on the hanging basket hole as we swung the basket so it was swinging back and forth. WE both still made our putts, mine was for a duece though. so we played Malone, Schneider, Alpine and Wildwood all before 9:30 am. Pretty impresive if you ask me and even more impressive was that I ACED # 8 red tee at Malone making it the 3rd consecutive month of the same date (4th) that I have gotten an ACE. I wonder if anyone is having a tournament on January 4th, 2012??. I'd like to thank Martin Dewgarita and Forrest for allowing me to show them our area DGC. That's one of the many facets of Disc Golf that's makes our game so great is that we can blend in as friends on the DGC even though we're completely strangers away from the course. But I saw that Martin Dewgarita was traveling around and invited him to visit our area and I invited him to stay at my place as a good host would and we played 12 DGC in our area together (Martin played 13) in 3 days in December. Martin has played over 600 DGC in 2 years. He will pass me soon and possibly pass Ben Calhoun and Greg Hosfeld as the person who has played the most DGC and It was an honor to have him stay with me for a couple of days, playing DG, and listening to his amazing stories.
