That what we all want! That's what I've tried to do, some hole just need some thinning.. Thanks Justin me, Jim, buff, Elmer Michelle we were there everyday for like 4 months cutting trees for fairways! Befor that park came with any machines.
Justin Rogers November 24, 2012 at 7:00pm
by the way are they really removing the baskets!?!?!???!?!
Justin Rogers November 24, 2012 at 6:59pm
NICE! i like them alot they are almost as good as some of the front holes those back holes will teach you how to throw and keep it in the fairway!
Adam Matthews November 24, 2012 at 6:59pm
All I care about is the preservation of a really great disc golf course. That's it.
Jakkob Lammi November 24, 2012 at 6:57pm
I personally designed holes 13 -18 befor pad and baskets went in.
Justin Rogers November 24, 2012 at 6:55pm
well said buddy no wonder that idiot only has 4 firends no doubt he just started and prolly with a bag full crappy of dx plastic!
And on another note good job to you jacob and any other people helping make wickes better!
Jakkob Lammi November 24, 2012 at 6:48pm
Adam Matthews you really don't know anything about discgolf, so just keep your mouth shut. Wickes woods wouldn't be anything with out me and a few people putting in hundreds of hours for free to build that course. Don't ever speak my name, you don't know who I am.
Justin Rogers November 24, 2012 at 6:46pm
no reason to go crazy in my opinion wickes is the best course within 100 miles only courses able to give it a run for its money is flip city, leviathan, hudson mills, bluegill, deerfield, and sleepy im just saying that it is quite obvious that some trees need to be removed just because you shoot a 30 over and use trees to your advantage doesnt mean we all do!!!
Adam Matthews November 24, 2012 at 6:30pm
Are you seriously ****ing about TREES in disc golf? Wickes is awesome right now and is definitely the most challenging in the area. Trees are a part of the game. If you can't handle so many trees find a new ****ing sport. You guys sound like you're part of the group of people who ripped down the tree transversing hole 17. After reading Jakkob Lammi's comments I wouldn't be surprised at all. Grow some balls.
Justin Rogers November 24, 2012 at 6:23pm
hear hear on 10 and 11 you gotta remove that big tree on the right and some at the end and you cant even classify 11 as a hole its not that hard but its no fun and just plain stupid
Ryan Green November 24, 2012 at 6:15pm
Thats too bad. It would make for a really sick course with the removal of about 75-100 small trees. Right now it seems you have to be more lucky than good.
Jakkob Lammi November 24, 2012 at 6:14pm
12's fine more like 1, 6, 9, 10 between the basket and the trail 11, 15 and 18
Justin Rogers November 24, 2012 at 6:02pm
thats dumb the tree on 6 has to go and so do alot of other on the back holes mainly on 12!
Jakkob Lammi November 24, 2012 at 5:21pm
That's it they won't cut anymore we tried to tell them.
Ryan Green November 24, 2012 at 5:17pm
Are the fairways going to be cleared of all of the trees or is the course finsished as is? I like a lot of the new hole designs.
caine wiechmann November 19, 2012 at 12:25pm
if anyone finds a yellow S line control driver with my name on it on hole 10 by the basket i will pay for its return.
Jakkob Lammi November 4, 2012 at 11:19am
You don't know what your talking about that tree should have never been there to begin with. Jokers hahahahahha
Adam Matthews November 2, 2012 at 6:27pm
Can't believe how quick the tree moving across hole 17 was ripped down here, such a shame... It would be sweet if the Township could cement a big metal poll across where the branch was.

leaving the baskets in wouldnt hurt them , and we could walk from the road . There was some pretty nice days last winter , like 65 in feburary . Who do we need to convince to leave them in? I met the parks and rec guy once seemed like a decent guy he even told me he saw people playing in the winter even cleaning off the tee pads.
