What's going on at the course? I heard there was police and fire there earlier in the afternoon. I just went by and saw a fire truck with lights going inside the locked gate. There were several cars parked in the back away from the course. I didn't see any people by the cars. There was a news truck on Hospital Rd across from the gate. I don't have a good feeling about this.

Talking with the media outside the course, they said a pipe bomb was found on the course! The state bomb squad is on the scene with their robotic equipment. Got interviewed by WNEM. Maybe I'll be on the news!

I had a purple titanium buzzz fall out of my bag on the course last week, it has my name and phone number on it, as if it matters, but if anyone spots it and can get it, i can definitely try to get a reward for it, it was my favorite disc.

Incase anyone is still wondering, all 18 baskets have been in for about a week. The course is in pretty good condition too. Hole 17 is a little muddy still but you can still play through.

THIS IS A NOTICE TO EVERYONE, Wickes woods baskets have been pulled for winter. They have put out highlighted posts instead, but the gates are closed and you will have to walk from the road if you should choose to go here.

If the trees would have been cut in beginning like the course should be, then people wouldn't be cutting them down! Said by the PDGA a hole should have a Fairway that's defined. Like holes 2,3,5,7,8,10,12,13,14,16,17 and most of 18 the rest of the holes have No defined fairway. That makes your shots luck on those holes. A good course should be where every hole has a lane you can make it to the landing zone or basket in your shot with skill not luck. If my disc is flying great down the lane and still has to get lucky to be by the basket then that's a bad hole. I Speek for all real golfers!

The fewer trees and less challenge doesn't make it better either, though. Either way, if the township removes some trees it won't make that much of a difference. I just hate playing a course and seeing that people decided to take it into their own hands and rip trees down. Bums me out, man.
